Well, I started a NEW legacy family since my original one seems to have some kind of bug issues. Seems like no matter what I do.. when i'm around the same point of time in game; it crashes. which is near the time when she has her baby and the kids grow up.
Ok, well here we go with My new family.
Founding Sim-Greg Eternity. Greg has a slightly tanned skin tone with these awesomely blue eyes, short hair that is spiked ever so slightly in teh front. His normal everyday outfit is some jeans, and a long sleeve oxford shirt in a relaxed cotton. He is a scorpion and a family aspiration. This made my life easy. Getting a family aspiration makes legacy a little easier. Keeping a materialistic sim happy without cheat codes is pretty hard.
Ok. Well, I started him in the downtown area of my nightlife area. This is known as the nightlife extreme start which gave me 2 extra points. I got the biggest lot which is actually a little bigger than the typical 5x5 lot you start with in a normal legacy situation. Also, I didn't pick any handicaps.... so yeah for me.
Well, due to the Xtreme start, Greg was pretty freaking poor for almost two weeks. In fact, when he married the girl who delivered his pizzas from his first week of beign a broke a** (( lol )); the house only had walls around teh toilet. Pizza girl moved in unemployed with some stat points (hurray to the person/patch that fixed this. in my first house, none of the people moving in the family ever had any stat points. annoying to say the least). Also, she was a family aspiration, and that moved her getting married to him along considerably. Also, she brought in 12k and tada! there were walls around the house. Then, she got a job in law enforcement too. They both had the same ambition to be a hometown hero (top law enforcement position). Well, she got pregnant, and her pregnancy took an unexpected toll on her body apparently. And, the afternoon she was due to have the baby, she up and died getting out of the tub. cry This was quite sad. It was at this moment that I felt bad for my sim Greg that in legacy you're not allowed to quit and restart at last save. Well, at least her grave stone will count as a stone type point... But poor Greg! He cried all the time. He would walk to where she died in teh bathroom and cry. He'd go outside and cry at her tombstone. Even inside the house, he'd face direction of her stone and cry. Then, I had to sell everything related to the baby. Cuz, of her being pregnant, sometimes he'd cry over her, the baby, or them both.
Well, enters the next chapter of Greg's life. I was like. Man, I gotta get this guy distracted from his grief... he needs some sex. xD I mean. We all know your A-typical guy's mind can be easily comforted by some shallow action. So, then i remembered this girl from teh downtown area who was always calling him all the time.. even though she knew he was married. Called him everyday. At the time, I found it awfully slutty of her, but what better person to call in his time of need. She came over and was hitched to him in 2 days! Record time for a legacy couple in all my sims2 playing. xD And, guess what! She has a family aspiration too! Woo! and, she is at a second or third level of her job. Go whatever her name is... xd Well, they have 1 child, one baby about to become a toddler, and one on the way. Then, her platinum goal is to marry off 6 kids. So, my plan: get their 3 blood children into good university experiences... while they go off, she can adopt 3 more.. and as they get into teen.. don't send those to college and marry them off as they become adults. This would be a great plan!
So, right now, Greg just became an elder. But, I am putting off retirement till his next promotion which he is really close to. and, just the other day, him and his wife now have in their fears having a baby. and, i'm like.. well it's too late now folks! you both had the desire for a baby.. and it's gonna get here whether you want it or not!!!
A little thing with her experience this time around.. her first two pregnancies were breezes. This third one has been a little troublesome in that it has been very emotional.. and she gets into a mood alot. She requires almost constant upkeep and watching her vital signs all the time. Luckily, if i can keep her aspiration meter in the gold, I have that machine in teh yard that she can get in and get happy.
((and a little side word about that machine, I once sent her in not noticing her bar dropped into the green meaning less than gold. D:< Her vitals went even lower! dont' get in that thing if they are not golden or higher aspiration levels. NOT GOOD!))

Update on my eternity family. Wow. A LOT HAS HAPPENED! (well, i didn't get to play or update for a while cuz after josh reformatted our big pc. turned out NL had a problem with the disc1. it wouldn't install. I borrowed my sister's copy and that wouldn't work either. so i had to buy a new one which took a few weeks.)
Anyways... well, Greg has recently passed away. It comes as a great sorrow for the family. Now, he had Victoria, Todd, and Tina. Then, they adopted um.. i forget his name right now. Then they had their other blood born daughter and adopted a little girl. The two girls are going to grow up together. I will be forced to play out the college kids a little more. The mom's platinum aspiration is to marry off six children. Hopefully I can manage that well enough. I am currently put out for what to do about which child to carry on the legacy. They have 4 children who can do it.. and all of them are going to college.
Now, the oldest daughter and child, Victoria. She finished c** Laude from college in the major of Drama. Her job is an athlete, platinum aspiration-some kind of Athletic Stardom it is. Well, anyways.. while she was running their family's greek house. (hurray for founding it with the first sim in college. more pionts!) She had two guys. Her main boyfriend; but she had been developing an increasingly sexually tense relationship with one of the school professors. Upon returning home... I decided to let her keep the professor. None of my legacy family has ever married one of them. Well, that went well and without a hitch. The weird thing was that he came into the household unemployed, and his life goal is to be a captain hero. Which is top of the police ladder. I guess being a college professor really wasn't where he wanted to be in life. Bad thing for Victoria, his hairline is already receding! xd So anyways, her and Dawson are living home with the family. It worked otu well. It was only a day or two after they had moved in that the dad passed away with the youngest still being a toddler. Victoria and Dawson both helped out a lot. They both want a baby. I'm not so sure that's a good idea just yet. I want to get all 6 kids including the adopted ones married off before the old lady dies. lol. Might be tricky with the youngest 2. I will have to send them through college.
The mum... Well, she is a little torn up over losing her husband; but she wants to fall in love like really bad. I am thinking about putting her together with the dad from my first legacy family. Wouldn't that be a hoot? But, then again, the space in teh house is getting crowded. I hate having more than six people in a house because it gets hard to take care of everyone properly. I might let the teen boy stay home and marry someone right away and move out... and send the youngest two to college soon as they are teens. This will buy me some time to get them all moved out.
If any of you ever face a dilemma about which child to pass the family name on to, how do you decide who to do it with?
