While I didn't like the fact that she died, I thought it fit well. Warriors do not live to be old men/women and she died saving a lot of people thereby earning the redemption she sought for 6 years.

Yeah, I guess that's true, but she was so close to becoming alive again! It always makes me cry. I haven't seen every episode yet, but I think they could have gone a couple more seasons.

I think it was a bad choice as an ending... not the dieing part but the fact thaat she died in Japan, she should have died in Greese, there should have been this big war, and all our favorite characters should have been in it... did it ever seem that the show was doing really good and then they like started running out of ideas or something. I really just about hated this episode, because it was cheesy and really the ending of this show could have been soooo much better..... thats my opinion =b

YEA! i ALWAYS thought they shulda ended it in greece! 3nodding i didnt think that they wer runnin outta ideas tho... ninja season 6 had a ton of good ideas.... ninja
but this waz teh most saddest episode/part of my life EVAR! crying i guess ish good that xena didnt get old like princessah said.... ninja but they didnt hafta kill her! gonk SPECIALLY not like that with some NOBODY doing it! gonk they shulda made her a goddess in deh end so she wuldnt get old! 3nodding

Um... I agree that Xena probably had to die. Given that all her adventures were part of a quest for redemption, finally dying in some heroic way seemed very appropriate, but I don't like how it was handled.
A Japan arc right before her death would have been awesome, but the whole thing with the burning of the village and crap... Not so much.
Either she should have died in a fair fight instead of a blatant suicide mission, or she should've been doing something non-combat related but still suitibly noble (IE: saving a kid from drowning, ministering to the ill during some sort of disease outbreak).

i started thinkin that ish less bad that she died cuz i wuldnt realleh want xena teh get old ninja but i also never wanted her teh die! crying specially by deh way that she did! eek it waz so scary and sad crying but i guess it wuld hafta be all big dealish for deh last episode gonk i never wanted xena teh get beat tho! crying or come back if she waz gunna get beat gonk

I thought the episode fit, but it really just made me sad. I mean, it wasn't the fact that Xena died that killed me ((bad choice of words)) but it was more the fact that Gabrielle was left without her soul mate.

I watched this episode again this morning with my friend. It was the first time seeing it for her. I swear, I had to keep myself kind of joking around and talking through it so I wouldn't cry at the end. It made me sad. sad
Then again, the bad acting was amusing. I think the leader of the army had a somewhat Australian accent. XP
