As per Southerncross's suggestion, I am now making an official "showdown" style thread. Basically- get a person you want to oppose in a high-stakes debate about any given subject. High stakes because the debate'll take place here, on a sticky, and you have a chance to make a fool out of yourself.
There's a few differing rules for this type of debate, and a few I'd like to stress.
1. No attacks, flaming or -anything- of that sort, what so ever.
(That's going to be hard for me, I'll admit. But these are meant to be professional-esque debates, so none of that.)
2. You must show proof of what you've said. Burden of proof is a big thing here, and there's no dodging it seeing as you're going 1 on 1.
3. If you lose, you lose. Don't complain about it. But feel free to call "hold" on any debate and pick it up for later.
Soo...any takers? Just post here. First come, first serve.

Loki, is there anything you're willing to debate on Christianity that might go against my known convictions?
If not, I'd be willing to go devil's advocate on something.
Gossamer: I don't mind flames, personally. I do, however, enjoy making fun of them. wink

I wont debate anything religious, I have had my share of those people. I dont have the streangth.

Fiery hell of eternal torment = Dante =/= correct according to the bible. Lucifer =/= satan. Almost every translation is complete s**t, and a select few are slightly less shitty. I'm sure I'm overlooking a lot of convictions, but those are a few.

All the people that say Catholics are idol worshipers and such are the ones I smite. I may not agree with Catholics, but I do protect them from ignorance against them.
