I've had this idea cooking for a webcomic for a while, but there are no artists out there.
I already have one web comic in the making with a friend, but I can't load him down with too much work.
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping me out.
I'm a comedy writer. I'm 18. Name's Ajay.

My idea:
Vulcan, the God of all things Metal, is sent down to earth to rid it of minorities. Though, in the eyes of Vulcan, everyone is a minority, unless, of course, they are a viking.
He has an axe, which is both a guitar and a battle axe, in which he uses to smite the weekend and rock the ******** out of the general public.
If anyone is interested, please let me know ASAP. Feel free to contact me via AIM, or through PMs, or hell, just reply to this thread.
Preferably those age 17+, I make exceptions.
Anyone applying, please give me links or pictures to some examples of a comic-style art you use.

Yeah it is. I used to be really active then got sick of talking to myself. I think I still have the most posts.
Yeah, good luck. XD Maybe Gaia isn't the place to advertise. Everyone's an anime artist.
Maybe you could look for ideal art in the art arena then contact the artist.

Yup... 74 (75) posts and the next highest is 60 something... Everything else after that is non comparable.

I agree. Sometimes it's nice to look at but I think having personal style is much more important.

I have a few artist friends but i dont know that they would have the time to do anything like what you are suggesting
candidates
1) semajack- very busy hectic lifestyle..plays to much dnd (with me and our friends) but good artist, strays from anime style drawings..heavily influenced by american comics..
2) Twilight-working on a project with me(i think)
3) ummmm crap...ran out of artists for right now
give semajack a PM and tell him i sent ya..I highly doubt he will do it but i like his stuff enough to recommend him so good luck
