Okay, I mentioned this maybe about a year ago, but I gave up on it pretty fast. ^^;

I wanna really take this seriously though. I honest to goodness think, that with proper editing and such, it would make an excellent book.

I want everyones permission on this though... sweatdrop
and permission to change a few names...
Namely Kite, Inari, and Sasuke. Kite because too many people would connect it to .hack, and Inari, because its Japanese, and Sasuke, well Naruto xp
so give me different names! ninja

I have way too much time on my hands, as everyone knows, and Ill try to post updates as often as possible.

Ill be starting with part 2....cause theres really not much of part 1 that I remember....gonna need help with that.

ill be making a few changes to the beginning....cutting out Lunels kitty thing and such..

If this actually happens, theres gonna be at least 3 books... xd
and we can all go on a book tour and crap! rofl heart

and of course, Im open to any suggestions/changes that anyone wants.

Naming and such aside, does anyone have any idea how LONG turning this into a book would be? It's a wonderful idea, but the amount of coordination and organization required...does any of us have that kind of time an patience at present? I've got a few stories I'm working on at the moment and I'm trying to find a job. As long as this RP is, turning it into a publicized work would be a LARGE amount of work.

Say we did get it written. I had a few friends in juniro high whose parents are professional sci-fi authors. It takes a good deal of time for writing. Then we'd have to find and editor or two. Which usually costs money. And then we'd have to hire an agent (because I doubt any of us enough clout in any publishing circles to merit that we don't get one.) And hiring them usually has soem kind of costs associated with it, though not as much as editing. And self-publishing is more expensive, in most cases, than getting a publisher.

I'm not trying to shoot the idea down, merely playing Devil's Advocate. It is a LOT of work. Plus we'd have to go through and check for copyright infringement (which I'm sure is in there. >.<) There's nothing wrong with the names, if you think about it. I remember reading a book with a chatcer named Kite. It's not a common name, sure, and people might associate it with .hack, but so what? I'm lso sure some hardcore Gundam fans will think of Char (pronounced "Shar") Aznoble when they see Char (pronounced like it's spelled). As for Sasuke...well, Maru made her point. Not our fault that the mainstream junkies will be like "OMG! YTou stole those names! ZOMG n00bs!". The names have been there, we just didn't get to them first.

Back to my point - this kind of project would require a tremendous amount of work and coordination. And with half our crew in scholl and the other half worrying about employment, I don't think it's feasible at the moment. Jen and I have free time and could possibly work on some stuff, but it'd take a while. And everything from the original RP is dead, so we'd have to rewrite it or something and that would require an outline of sorts.

And the college kids don;t need anymore on your shoulders, really. I remember college and the workload can be a b***h. As a freshman it wasn't so bad, but the farther up, the more work you have to do. And too much work causes stress. And stress can cause you to be cranky or to get sick, and that makes ya miserable AND cranky. At any rate, keeping the idea for a book is good, really, but for now, let's enjoy the RP for what it is - ab outlet for fun and creativity - and put the novel idea on the back burner for a while. Not saying forget it, I'm not. I just don't think we have the means, at present, to refine this into the masterpiece it could be.

That's my dollar and eighty-two cents. Not sure of it makes as much sense here as it did in my head, but, well, I tried. ^_^;

Alright, but Lunel? Don't worry about it overmuch, okay? Concentrate on studies first and all that. We don't need you stressing out and your eyeballs exploding into Domo-shaped marshamallows or anything... xp
