I have it on a CD in Spanish (::shrugs:: don't ask) and I memorized it without realizing it, because I've heard it so many times. Then when I rode it and got to that part of the ride, I started singing along because I couldn't help it. I freaked out the rest of my boat.
It just sounds so much cooler that way, though! (Un pequene mundo es...)

LtlPandora The one at WDW sucks though. It's closed for repairs at WDW right now. Among other things, they're revamping the sound system so that the robot children shriek at you even louder in several different languages. I got to see a little snippet of the renovations. I don't want to ruin the magic for anybody, so I wrote it in white below, highlight it if you're curious what I saw... The bald, severed heads of the small world children stuck on pegs. Creepy, no? It was a little disconcerting, but they were being given new wigs and headdresses, which were very pretty and sequiny. End of secret message.

That secret message is one of the funniest things I've heard for at least all day today. [Grin]
I've always liked this ride. It's a good one to go on in the afternoon, when you're in need of your second wind and it's getting a little hot outside. That song is so freakin' catchy....

I love that ride! mostly b/c my mom hates it, so I make her ride it with me and she sings the song for the rest of the day, and threatens to kill me b/c of it. the song is very addicting though

I love the walt disney world one, it is 100 times better than Disneyland's. Disney land has a mermaid int heris though. The entire ride is SO cool heart

i have been to disneyworld and everytime i go there i have to go on this ride mostly its always the first or the last but usually its last because we usually stay there until the park closes

The song is actually reported in science as the song most able to get "stuck in your head." It's a shame disney didn't put any subliminal messages so they could control the world...or...maybe they did...AHHH!!!
