So there I was...pondering on random things...then out comes a random Bleach theory.
I've come to the conclusion that everything in Bleach happens for a reason, and the things that are happening right now are also happening for a reason...those reasons are just yet to be revealed.
Example A: Kubo showed only a shadowed part of the face when giving us a picture of Kaien's killer so it would not be recognizable as Rukia and so that the readers would later be shocked when they found out it was.
Example B: Kubo gave that one extremely minor character a three page backstory of how he felt when first being accepted into the Gotei 13 and how he hoped to someday be under the command of Hinamori-fukutaichou. He only did this so that when Mayuri Kurotsuchi killed him in the following page, the readers would be shocked.
So, as you can see from these examples, Kubo LOVES irony and he LOVES to throw curves at his readers. Honestly...I have a feeling that there's another curve coming...
Isn't it so very convenient that the Captain of Rukia's squad is fatally ill and the two Vice Captains are both blundering fools that Rukia could easily dispose of?
My thinking is that in a future chapter, Ukitake may kick the bucket ( sadly ) and Rukia will assume his position as Captain. Sure, Byakuya doesn't want her to hold positions, but I think he'd be willing to negotiate now that he's had his a** kicked.
But then again, all of this could simply be coming from my screwed up Rukia-obsessed mind...and I really could be hallucinating with my idea. XD
Ah well, any comments on my theory? Agree with it? Disagree? I want to know! x3
