Personality: Aurora is a calm when it comes to difficult logic problems. But when she comes across some thing that she thinks she knows but she does not then she will become extremely stubborn about until she is shown cold hard evidence that she is wrong.
When she is compared to her Identical twin Athena, Aurora becomes defensive because she knows that she is no way like her twin. Though she may seem tough and strong she is actually a really nice and friendly person if you do not offends her and she almost always remembers when people do some thing to her.
History: Aurora is identical twin named Athena. Their parents named the two such mythological names because there father was an Art history Professor and their mother is a Archeologist. Thought that it would be most appropriate to name there Girls after two Goddess hoping that they would be like the Gemini Twins and care for each other though out life.
The two grew up together though there was a little trouble figuring out who was who between the two of them. Many of times there parent?s teachers and almost everyone around them would mix them up. Though there are many advantages about being Identical twins. And thought there younger years Athena and Aurora took advantage of every last one of them.
When Aurora was only two her father took her and Athena out early one morning to watch the sun rise. As the 3 of them sat there on a grassy hill watching the sky change color there father explained to Aurora the reason she was named Aurora.
"Aurora the goddess of the Dawn Aurora you were born at Dawn so that is why you are named Aurora."
To sit out and watch the dawn became ritual for Aurora she would watch it with her sister every morning.
As the two got older the novelty of being identical twins started to wear off. They tried in vain to be different but it seemed fate had it that the two would always look alike. The only real differences were that aura was an inch shorter than Athena and that Athena has a scar on the bottom of her right foot from when she mistakenly steeped on some broken glass. Though apart from those differences and some other minute ones, they were mirror images of each other. Aurora grew up with her family in California where she grew up upper middle class though she always tried to help other people before her self leaving her at many times getting the short end of many deals. Athena on the other hand was a leader taking charge of situations that arise seeing a way though almost anything that came in to her way.
Athena and Aurora went there separate ways after graduating high school. Athena was at an academy for a bit, till she left to be what Aurora and her mother and father did not know. Aurora on the other hand went to a university in California were she learned and became an archeologist major. Maya history interested her so she went to a Field school in Belize. Her interest in ancient cultures has helped her keep on going though the trouble of getting funding gets in her way many times.
