1. Please be at least Semi-literate. Ive had my fair share of people who ruined an Rp experiance just by the way they wrote. l337 speak, internet slang, or bieng non descriptive in what they are doing. (Example. John hit u with super ice attack making 4 your hurting bad.)
2. No godmodding or use of hero complex!! Every living thing has it's limitations whether it is physical or whatever. (Example: Jonah was surrounded by 32 demons. With a flick of his wrist, razor sharp winds destroyed all of the demons.) Another example is not showing the retributions of your or anothers actions. If your character gets hurt by thier opponent, Please don't shrug it off as if it was a musquito bite. accept the fact your character is hurt or fatiqued from battle. (I understand that as an RP develops a character will get stronger in his fighting ability so defining who Godmodds will be the originators responsibility.)
3. Send your Bio's to an RP's OOC thread or PM the originator. This isn't a must but some people prefer this and so I'm adding it.
4. Please be dedicated to any RP you join. If you know you won't be online for a while, Please take your character away from the main plot for a while. Also, post the times you will and won't be able to RP in the OOC. It's not nice to make people wait on someone who ain't coming.
5. Romance will probably be encouraged in some RP's but please try to keep it clean or at least keep it away from sex. I'm not sure exactly what the TOS says about cybering but I'm sure they don't like it as this is a family site. So as a warning I suggest you keep romance between characters to what you would see on primetime channels on tv like fox. That means you can make out but don't write the actual act of sex If you feel this is a must than do it over PM's
7. Make a black list. This will let everyone know if a certain person is no longer able to RP. Hopefully though you will never need to use one.
6. Use different colours for different characters. While not a rule per say it certainly helps people figure out who your writing as right away; especially if your using more than one character per post.
Remember that these are rules for an RP creator to take into consideration only... except number 5 as I'm pretty sure violating that can get you banned from Gaia itself. So have fun, keep it clean and begin to weave your tales of infinite worlds with infinite possibilities.
