The infirmary is where Fairy Dragons can come when they are sick or injured. Most dragons that come through here will only take a sit on the cot in the main room to be looked at and briefly treated. More serious cases may find themselves having a longer stay in one of the two quarantine rooms. Hopefully you'll never be attacked by a giant squid and find yourself in the backroom, which is the surgery room.
Kismet is the healer/alchemist that runs the infirmary, so he's the one most often on duty. Even if you don't suspect a case of kweetpox, or dragon plague, feel free to stop by!

The infirmary is open for rp, but please keep to the setting. ^^
Notes:
All healers should rp out the examination, giving the patient time to react and give clues to their condition. Patients should also be given time to react as they are treated.
Players whose dragons are patients may want to give their dragon's condition in OOC (( )) to prevent major confusion. However, it is not necessarily required. But if you choose not to, don't be surprised if say, Kismet makes a misdiagnosis of plague when your dragon only has a cough. Not that the doctor will always be right, even if you choose this option. wink

Humming quietly to himself, Kismet sat at his alchemy table, grinding up the medicine power with a mortar and pestle. With the colder weather building, more dragons and kweets were coming down with the sniffles. It was going to be a task to keep the medicines in stock.

Kura rummaged through a few books, picked one up, and sat down and began to read up on common diseases or illnesses due to cold weather etc.
Toya sat on her head and read along silently

(Like I said Liv,callie's got a concusion. she was chasing valentine and he bumped into her and she tripped and whacked her head on a conch shell)

Kura walked in carrying an unconcious Callie. She set her on one of the beds in a quarintine room. "Alright..." She hooked up some medical equipment, and then examined the bump on Callie's head. "This is definitely not good. I'm afraid a she's had a concussion.........I hope she wakes up soon, most likely there wasn't neccisarliy sever damage." She then cleaned up the bump, and put ice on it to keep it from swelling.

Kura set the flowers that Isen had sent Callie on a table near her bed. She then leaned over and whispered to Callie, "yes I think you'll be just fine. You can wake up to find flowers Issy sent you. That should cheer you up," she nodded. She then bandaged Callie's forehead. "The only thing is, I hope kismet doesn't come in hear and find you like this. He might have a heart attack. You know how much he worries about you." She went on and on talking to an unconcious Callie, it seemed to make things feel better.

"I could use some hot chocolate." Kismet sighed, trudging into the infirmary. He had been chasing around fish all day, and he was exhausted. All he had to show for it were two small fry. These types of fish weren't very big, so they were almost useless for eating. But they contained a very special chemical in their bones that was useful in certain medicines.
"I should have an assistant do this sort of thing." Kismet puffed, sitting down at his stone bench. Just then, he scented Calliope nearby. What was she doing in the infirmary?
He peered into the nearest quarantine room, and saw her lying in one of the beds. She had bandages and ice on her head. "My baby!" Kismet wailed and was instantly by her side, fussing over her head. "What happened to you?"
