when the zombies started to appear in large groups
"ummm...i think we may be some of the last survivors here..." dante said slowing the truck down and pointing at a group
"that was the other group that could have survived..." he said darkly he then floored the truck and ran over some of them...
"well here we are one of two stores that still has power...we need someone to stay with the truck two someones actually" he said looking around at teh barren parking lot...

Jay felt herself blink. Even with the shades she was still relatively blind in the sun. But the noise of the engie made a continueous sound wave through the area, & she caught every thing it touched; each corner & crevice of the buildings, each gruesome feature of the zombies, how long & apart each landmark was. She lifted her head & looked up at Dante as he asked. He looked at Alice & the Nephilim, thought about it, & then turned to Dante. "I think it would be best if I went. Alice can watch her new friend. Plus, I can probably see whatever might be coming at us before you might." She waited for someone to object with that last reasoning. See? After she explained how much she couldn't see? Jay sweatdropped at how illogical she had just sounded.

"Ummm... Ok Nephilim and Jay are staying?" Alice's heart was beating too fast for her to hear anything clearly. She hated that flaw, and it only happened at random times. "Who ever goes please grab me a new shirt before I have to run around in my bra."
Nephilim raised an eye brow. "Bra?" He asked curiously.

Dante got out of the truck and stood on the ground holding his new toy... his chains were gone for now...so his hair was really long and getting in the way he pulled a knife out of his pocket and began to cut parts of it off then pulls out a head band that says rock you and puts it on to go with his belt that says free... Dante's look"no you and Nephilim are staying and we will get you a new shirt several in fact just hold on" he hands her a bag he had brought with him... "if you get in trouble use that" (psst rem it has what ever hand gun you want and a large amount of ammo) Dante said waiting for Jay to get out of the back his sword humming

Jay carefully got out, her hand-&-eye cordination still adjusting to this new form of seeing. As Dante came around, she closed the truck door loudly, turned to face away as the sound waves rippled out, & stopped. She instantly looked weird, like someone silently on the verge of losing sanity. Her shoulders & head were slumped & bowed. Her hair, covering most of her face, ruffled in the breeze. Slowly, she lifted her gun & pointed it at Dante, not even looking at him. After a second's pause of aimming, she pulled the trigger. A loud blast echo'ed far & wide around the area. The bullets missed Dante be a few inches, traveled towards the corner of a nearby building, & took down a zombie dude just as he rounded the corner. Jay used the huge sound wave from the gun's blast to scope out anymore. They were good.... for now. She looked up & grinned at the spot in front of her. "This could be quite handy."

Alice nodded at Dante and turned to address the very confuzzeled Nephilim when gun shots made her spin around, pulling the Glock 19 out of the bag and snapping the clip in place. Her bright blue eyes scanned the area and then her brow furrowed over them when figured out, kinda, what had happened. Her jaw dropped and she glanced between Nephilim and the deader zombie that was so very small in her vision.
Nephilim smiled approvingly at Jay and gave Alice a look that asked her why the heck she was wearing a face like that.
Alice leaned out the window. "Well hold dow the fort. Just don't take too long shopping." She grinned teasingly.

Jay followed close behind. As they entered the doors, cheery shopping music chimed through the speakers. Jay winced & readied her gun. The store was eerily silent. She paused, trying to catch any movement inside. "See anything?"

Nephilim sat perched atop the cab of the truck. He seemed to be zoning out for a while. Then he tensed. The whole truck shuddered as if it had been hit by something when he did so. At the sound of a soft cry of shock from Alice he peeked his head through the window. "Me." He said simply and was glad to be rewarded with an understanding nod. "Closer." He said more gravely as the little flames on his tribal looking rune markings died out and were replaced with just a pitch bottomless black that made his dark skin look greyish.
Alice climbed out of the truck and took her own position in the bed of it. Wishing she knew how close was closer to this demi-human companion of hers. For all she knew it could mean their a mile away. She clutched her bat in her left hand and kept the gun handy to grab with her left if she needed to in a pinch.

Dante headed for the clothing section and started looking for shirts for alice his blade humming as he walked down toward it

"Yeah right..." Jay retorted as she bumped her hip into Dante's, scooching him over so she could take his spot. She began looking at the clothes in front of her now. "Like you know what women like to wear." She had trouble seeing color, but she could just barely make it out. & she could see anything clearly that was a few feet in front of her. She pulled out one shirt to examine it. "I got this. You go ahead & get the food. I'll be there in a bit."

Jay pulled out a handful of shirts she figured Alice would like ((I'll let you describe what they are Rem.)) & took the time to get some for herself. Hey... you never knew when the one you have on now would be torn off your back, nowadays. Jay took the time to look at a new leather jacket when she felt her neck hairs prickle. She slowly turned around, anxious to see if there was something about to bite out a chunk of her from behind. She was met with empty space, but the feeling did not subside. Jay gulped in an attempt to sooth her nerves. She quickly pulled on the jacket & went to find Dante. Every few feet she would knock her knuckles across a metal rack to make a sound wave, each ripple carrying her fears that it would find something unpleasent.
