Wouldn't that make the announcements kind of tucked away where no one can see them? I would rather have them stickies so it's easier to see if there's a new one.

They put to much clutter on the main sicussion page.
I think people will notice; this is a guild for smarter
people.
Not many blathering idiots should be in the guild.
