when a games is bad? simple
Over used of a popular franchise...FFV!! dirge of cerberus anyone/ X-2?
when they copy the same thing for the millionth time
NO ORIGINALITY WHATSOEVER
Crappy voice acting
Wrong side of nation making games..Usa and RPGs= BAd and same goes with fighting
It actually has a tv spotlight
bad publisher and developer >_>
Wow, this post is full of fail too.
-Isn't necessarily a bad thing. As long as the company producing the games can still make them fresh and original, re-using an old name/concept is fine. I mean, look at Super Mario, or Suikoden, or pretty much ANY fighting game series.
-See above point. The same old thing can be done again and again as long as it's done well. Megaman, anyone?
-You can turn down the sound. And even if you don't, some awesome games ahve terrible voice acting, but it doesn't make the game any worse. Baten Kaitos has some of the worst voice acting this console generation, and yet it's still a really awesome game.
-Black Isle would like to have a word with you. Country of origin has no bearing on a game whatsoever. An American-based dev team can make just as good a game as a Japanese dev team. See: Secret of Evermore & Fallout. And to my knowledge, America has only ever made one fighter series. Just because it sucked doewn't mean American CAN'T make a good fighter, it just means we HAVEN'T.
-Yes. Commercials make a game bad. ANYTHING ADVERTISED ON TV IS SELLING OUT.
-Truth. Though, terrible publishers/developers have put out excellent games. Mastiff bought up La Pucelle and edited it to hell and back, but it still turned out pretty ******** awesome. The developer that brought us Devil May Cry 2 also brought us Devil May Cry 1 and 3. The developer that brought us the shitty Final Fantasy series also brught us the beyond awesome SaGa series.
