Strange boxes line the wall of this place, five on each side. These boxes are full motion simulators and allow pilots to perfect their skills. A central spire is in the middle of the room, holographic displays cover the top of it. A few chairs are on it and it is used for battle field command, for those who want to learn strategy. A small room on the far wall is the computer room, which runs all the simulators and command spire.

"Okay... So when do I start??" Jeffie asks excitedly.

Ermor walked over to one of the Simulators and opened the hatch. He glanced inside quickly and motioned for Jeffie to get in. The inside was bristling with controls and a helmet rested on the seat, a cable extending from the back of it. The seat has a five point harness on it, already unbuckled. "When you put the helmet on, don't be alarmed. It will have a start up sequence and will allow you to control certain parts of the Mecha. The joysticks are there because it would overload your brain to have to deal with everything." Ermor explained.

Jeffie climbs in, buckles it up, pulls on the helmet, and finds the controls.
As the beginning sequence is running, Jeffie is bristling with excitement.

Ermor closes the hatch and locks it, plunging the cockpit into darkness. The screens light up around Jeffie, bathing him in an errie glow. Ermor jogs over to another simulator pod and jumps in. He types on the keyboard and places the helmet behind the seat. He takes a cord from the back of the seat and plugs it into his eyepiece thing, actually a cybernetic implat. Ermor feels the anticipation of battle rising in him.

"Welcome to the Battle Simulator V. 1.2." The computer says, seemly into Jeffie's mind. "Please choose your Mecha." A command prompt flashes across the forward screen for a split second and is replaced with a line of Mecha, one of them is lit up, showing the selected Mecha. "Profile loaded, Pilot Jeffie. Loading Phoenix data now..."

Switch over to the Battle Log thread with our names in the title, so as not to clog the simulator room thread. Thank you.

Plopping down in a pod, Adler started the simulator and logged in to his profile. He looked for his new mobile suit, the Rogue, on the selection screen, only to remember that he had just designed it himself, there was only one of them in the world, and that nobody would have known to add it to the simulation. Agitated, Adler pulled the triggers and pressed the firing buttons as if to shoot the poor computer.

The screen went blank.

"Oh, s**t, please tell me I didn't break this thing..." he said, covering his eyes.

Finally daring to look up at the screen, Adler's attention was caught by a white string of text in the corner.

F:>

"Huh? Hey, wait a second..."

Adler typed.

ver

The computer responded, and Adler's impulse hunch was confirmed.

"WINDOWS!!!???!!!???" screamed Adler. He was new to the Army, but he was still insanely bewildered by the fact that he had not already figured out that there was an active computer system onboard. He would definitely come back to study the workings a bit more, but he decided, thankfully, that his training carried a bit more priority. Taking only a minute to find the simulator on the network drive, he opened an existing mech file for editing, tweaked the values to fit his new mech, and restarted the simulator, his new suit there on the screen waiting for him.

Stand Alone yanked the hatch of one of the simulation pods opened and crouched down inside of him. Rubbing the bridge of his nose again he settled a laptop on a console and began the start up sequence. His mecha was...different, so he had to use his own computer to fix it into the system, atleast into the simulation system. "Sarah, sweetie, time to wake up." He said as he pulled the secure harness over his head. A small boom mike built into the laptop caught his voice and a program opened up on the screen. A woman's face opened inside the window, with a green tint to it.
~Good morning Sa (Saw). How are you today?~
Grumbling to himself he reached into his pocket and withdrew the disk, "I haven't slept in two days...but I think it's ready for a test run."
There was a strange look in Sarah's, supposedly, unemotional stare. Worry...she worried for him, for he spent more and more time away from his own kind and relying more and more on his syth-up to do tasks for him.
~Very well, I suppose you want me to see if this thing will sync-up with it?~
"Could you please?" He smiled at the screen, his features being recorded in the micro camera implanted close to the boom mike, as he slid the disk into the laptop.

Sarah's AI delved into the pod's main frame, slideing past some initial program requirements with little difficulty. Stand Alone's design was simple enough, though the controls on these pods wouldn't work fully, so she had to tweak some things. It took less than a minute, but Sarah downloaded the blue prints, filled in the specs, designed the chasis coloration, programmed the ammo count, and put it in a scenario.
~Alright, Sa, it's all yours.~
"Thanks, sweetie." Stand Alone smiled as he flipped the visor of his helmet down, the entire pod went black for a minute as the computer drew in the new data and tried to make heads from tails of it. After several long moments the soft neon glow of the screens began to flicker on. Weapon's read out, structure stats, and a hundred different numbers and colors. "Green across the dash, Sarah. Stand by..." He really didn't need to speak, Sarah knew her job to the letter, but he felt more normal if he gave verbal commands.

The pod gave a jerk, as if he had just hit something. In the simulation he had...infact he had just hit the planet's surface.

as Takashi is fighting in the simulator, it crashes.
"SUNOVABITCH," he yells yanking off the helmet, "Why does this always happen to me?"

Nateal sat in the simulator reading the commands as he typed them. "Uploading simulation... Slyph space program... Fleet class... Start." The screan went blank for a second and then he was floating in space among numerous battleships as mecha and fighters wizzed around him. He surveyed the area for a second and then flew off into the fray gliding along the hull of one of the behemoths. The Slyph kicked off of it and cut a mech from shoulder to groin leaving it to explode moments later. A sudden jolt hit him and the mech spun. "What the hell?" Nateal stabilized and then located the offender and rushed to give it the gift of death.

"Warning! Seven mass produced Slyphs inbound." Nateal had just enough time to turn before being thrown across space. "Damn it." The mech stabalized. "Unlock all limiters in the left arm now!" "Doing so will imbalance the generator... Sustained use will result in meltdown." "I said do it." The armor on the left arm broke away revealing it's skeletal frame and the huge lines that ran from the generator to the blade apatures. Almost immediatly a huge beam shot out but held at about 150 ft. "Charge." The Slyph rushed forward slicing the mass produced models like they were paper. Once they had been dispatched he went onto attacking the ships. Before he had to jeteson the left arm and shut down the generator he had left several huge wounds in a number of ships. Nateal floated there for a while until a connon shot hit the Slyph decimating it. "Simulation over."

Andreis cackled in his head as he slid on his mech helmet and completed the procedure to jack into the simulator system at the base remotely through the raven three's central core and cockpit transmitted through the Astral Hawk's laser transmitter to the MMA main base.
Now it was like he was sitting in one of the sim pods in the base, but he was, in reality, in the Astral Hawk sitting inside the Raven 3.

Andreis pushed a small data disk into the feed on the consol of the raven three and data from the disk began to transmit to the central control spire in the base.
It took about thirty minutes for the data to fully transfer and synchronize and when it was completed, Andreis could view in full the Digital incarnation of the Heavy Armuour commando he had ordered. The Raven three's controls would even react to the different weight of the mech and how it moved.

It was almost perfect! Even so.
Andreis just was too anxious to have his new mech up and running.

Run Battle Simulator Saturn Five

Now to wait for the simulator to acquire a better synch ratio and for the battle to load up.

Issac hopped in to a vacant pod, fliped the switches, pushed the buttons, and toggled the toggles. The pod rose to life and hummed, the conopy/hatch sealed with a his. Green light splashed over him as the screen came to life.
"A space battle, a friggin space battle. No, I correct myself. A Space Baby-sitting Mission!" He cried "Ah well, better than testing Grendal in real space."

He joined the simulation. The green Pre-Sim screen dissapeared and was replaced with the interior of The Dante's Fury.

"Here goes nothing!"
