Here, a pilot can hone his/her skills with live rounds and moving targets. Heavy metal plates act as targets and there are a few destroyed mecha still here. Large foot prints are ground into the dirt and there are some woods in the distace. A large lake is in the middle, allowing for cooling and such.

The whine of jets and the roar of engines broke the silence like a bullet in the night and the Raven 3 tore from it's spot on the ground and after the drone. The drone, with it's singular fuel booster blasted int he opposite direction from the Mobile suit assailing it. At the time, Andreis had not missle pods attached and a medium range chain gun attached to the right arm with an elbow attached chain feed. The drone roared by with the Raven close behind. The targetting computer beeped and the reticle homed in on the target. He squeezed the trigger once a partial lock was acheived and the whir buzz of the rotating barrels came forth. The bullets trailed after the drone as it banked and avoided them all. The ammo indicator read 986 and blinked due to the usage there of. THe numbers rolled down again as he began manually aiming and firing in various patterns incorporated with flight maneuvers to try and hit the target. It was alot harder than he thought.

With a simple lead burst of ammo, the drone banked right and Andreis engaged free flight mode, taking it's legs from their folded positions and aiming the engines more downward to create a bit more of a hovering foreward motion, though the speed was still considerable. His mech strafed left in mid air, turning the gun arm to the right where the drone was.
He swept shot across the drone's path and a red triangle appeared over the target as it flinched and dropped about 50 feet before regaining hovering capabilities. Andreis layed down on the trigger with the gun aimed to it. Steel core lead rounds loaded up the machine's interior and wires arced high current across the plumetting body as it smoked. It seemed the fuel resevoir wouldn't ignite, but just before it hit the water, the back underside of the drone blew out in a bright explosion that sent peices and the main bulk of the mutilated body tumbling over the water's surface, making a few skips before making a loud splash and receeding to the watery depths.
In all sense, Andreis was a rookie pilot. His corps was newer and he was a good pilot, but with little experience. The drone was set for 3 ranks higher than he was, and he used up alot of his munitions barrel; about 3/4 of it. A truely good pilot knows how to conserve and how to aim and lead. Andreis was working on it.
HIs breathing was heavy as his mech hovered above the water's surface, stirring up the glistening blue below him into choppy oxygenated waves that disipated back to calm.
Andreis grasped the throttle and controls tightly in both hands and turned the Mobile suit about with a quick control thrust and then hit the throttle back to base.

Takashi's Paladin Walks on to the field and draws its NOL-Y941 heavy laser sword. After surveying the area Takashi locates the close combat area and goes off at top speed.

"Pilot Takashi do you want to enter the close combat area?" queries the training Field's Computer

"Affermative" says Takashi as Drones activate to fight his MS. A upward slash from the Laser sword dispacted two of the Drones as one of the peppered the left flank of his MS with an Autocannon 5.

"Field computer," Said Takashi "do you have any MD that i could fight?"

"Affarmative pilot Takashi, Would you like some activated?"

"Yes." the Drone who attaked Takashi's flank was taken out with his vulcan guns. Evelators started to raise OZ-06MS Leo MDs and OZ-17MS Serpent MDs.

"MDs activated pitot Takashi, Attack on your MS will commence in one-zero seconds" said the Field Computer

"Finaly some fun," yells Takashi "Whos First?"

"Thanks dude" Takashi says as he jumps to avoid an incoming missle salvo and run behind a half ruined wall. As the Leos and Serpents close in on Takashi, he fires up the Paladin's thrusters and flips over the wall and a Leo. The Leo in front of Takashi dispatched it with a horizontal slash to the waist and carried it through to a verticle slash to a Serpent's Missle rack. The resulting explosion destroyed the left side of the Serpent and threw the Paladin 30 Meters.
"Sunovabitch" yells Takashi

"Ok, ok, i will make a note of it" Takashi says as he brings the Paladin to its feet.
"NOL-Y941 heavy laser sword, weapon status, missing" chimes Paladin's computer.
"DAMN" yells Takashi drawing Paladin's Lacerta beam saber. He dispatches 2 more Leos and a Serpent without hitting the missle rack
"Pilot Takashi, all MD have been destroyed, would you like more to be activated?" asked the field computer
"No," responds Takashi replacing the Lacerta beam saber on the small of Paladin's back "Now where did my sword go?"

as the odin mecha moved in to the traing field he wa shoting at the large magled targets he hit them all ahh thats one good thing happened today

In the targetting range out far, far away from the base, the air resonated the sounds of battle as members of the MMA tested their skills against simple AI, but none the less, somewhat difficult.
The faint, rythmic chopping sound of a helicopters blades came to ear as one of the many carrier choppers lumbered along with a hulking mecha in magnetic clamps.
About 2000 meters from the center of the zone, the Shreader was released from the clamps and it's body became live as the joints tensed up and the knees bent partially.
It collided with the ground with a very loud bang and the heavy mecha whirred to life, standing up as the two eyes flashed green for a moment.
Quickly, it drew a very long rifle off it's back and held it to the shoulder, aiming high.
The scope, easily able to accomodate for miles of distance, gave a close up look of 12 drones, all low to the ground on the opposite side of the lake.
This was going to be fun....
