I think it was a cheap shot of the admin. to badmouth Amy twice. First, he posted their correspondence on the board, then he trashed her response in the link posted above. This is pretty much what their conversation consisted of (paraphrased by moi):

ToB: Amy, you need to start helping with EvBoard or it will close. This board has been a good source of publicity to you and you have called it your site, so do something.

Amy (to her manager): I'm not dealing with this. I'm trying not to get upset at the nerve of this guy.

Considering this is the second time ToB has asked Amy for a handout and tried to make her feel responsible for the board HE is in charge of, I don't think her response was inappropriate. Who needs the admins of fan sites contacting you personally to ask for money?

Also, considering the actual conversation, it was a bit rude and unfair for ToB to post on the update that Amy was rude, without even bothering to present what her side of the story might be.

ToB, in my limited experience, gets pissed off and feels victimized often. IMO, I wish EvBoard had been sold to someone who actually wants to run it and will enjoy the job.
