My fav punk bands are ramones, clash, sex pistols, and bad religion. i dont really kno any hardcore though...

The Misfits, Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, Black Flag, and The usual stuff usually quenches my punk tates heh. Reccomend them heh.

I know of Misfits and Dead Kennedys lol...I don't really know anything about orig. hardcore but i would like to listen to some.

most good hardcore punk bands existed in the 80's...

I'm talking stuff like Minor Threat, Black Flag, D.O.A., The Germs...

you know, the crazy stuff that you could hardly understand.

A good movie if you're interested that just came out (and I believe it's a book too) : American Hardcore.

I just saw it this monday, it's good. I highly recommend it.

and not the crappy Henry Rollins era....btw Black flag was one of Kurdt Kobain's favorite bands.
