its only chapter 1, i just wanna see how people react to it, if they react good...me continue to put the story up, bad reaction, makes me not continue it 3nodding
Chapter 1
The strong light from the hot, vibrant sun makes her eyes open but close as soon as she opens them. She tries to get up but squints holding her right hand over her eyes. When she realizes that she is awake she sees trees taller than she has ever seen and a sky so blue just like in a dream, with different colored birds chirping and flying over the trees. She takes one step and hears the cracking of branches; she looks down and slowly looks straight ahead to only find threes, branches, and animals that she has never seen. Her heart starts to beat faster and faster since she doesn’t know where she is. Without noticing that is underneath her she turns and runs to find something that she can recognize. About two hours later past and she has no clue where she is. She falls to her knees, cracking a few dead leaves that fell off a tree a day ago leaving it bare and without any comfort, just like the girl next to it. She stares at a tree among many not knowing what to do. She hears a splash of water behind her and responds by turning around to find a pond full of water and lily pads. Not knowing if it’s real or not, she walks to it and lets one leg slide slowly into the blue and amazingly velar water. Her body is soon groped by the water and she feels so serene and secure, that is until she suddenly feels something slide by her leg. She starts to panic and breath heavier until she is being dragged under water. She struggles nervously but gives up unconsciously as she can barely see the light from the hot, vibrant sun seeping through the water. The last thing she heard was footsteps.
He spots a hand from the surface of the water while he passes it. “oh my God, what am I going to do?” You soon see him running on all four feet through trees, cracking branches, and stepping on stones which will leave a mark. All he thinks about is the hand he last saw through the water. He eventually comes to a stop at a house made out of wood. The man inside the house sees a bird-like creature as tall as him, with white skin and white wide wings; a legendary bird which according to one account lived 500 years, burned itself to ashes on a pyre, and rose alive from the ashes to live another period; a phoenix. He stopped sharpening his daggers and rushed out as soon as he saw the worried four legged creature.
“M-Master a g-girl…pond…”
With a confused and serious look he looks into the creatures eyes.
“Speak English”
He calms down a bit, giving off an expression of confusion.
“Master, a girl got sucked into the pond!”
His eyes open wide, while grabbing his weapon.
“Why didn’t you tell me sooner?!”
Surprised as the other was, the man climbs onto the phoenix’s back and the both fly back to the pond. Stepping on branches, rocks, and dead leaves they finally make it to the pond. Without thinking the man dives in with his spear and tries to find the helpless girl. Through the tuff ripples he finally finds her and quickly strikes the spear into the gigantic snake which screams and releases the girl. Once it swims away, the man grabs the girl and swims back to the surface where the phoenix was praying for them. He gets out of the water holding the girl in his arms. He sees a tan colored girl with black hair a little longer than her shoulders. He spots the creature and places the girl on it’s back safely. He takes a deep breath with the spear in his hand and he starts to run back to his house. While the phoenix flies with the girl back to the house.
They both reach at a wooden doorway and he picks the girl up form the creature’s body placing her softly on his bed. The creature notices a deep cut in the girls’ leg, and points to it. “Master, look!”
He looks at it with wide open eyes and sees blood streaming down the girls’ right leg. “AHH!” holding his mouth. He is speechless but tries to remain calm. The girl with tears in her eyes looks at a man wearing a gray shirt and black pants. He has fair skin, and is tall and has black hair. With a sad look, she thinks to herself if she will live or not. “Don’t worry, I will be right back, Feiyan, look after her.” With a sincere look, he looks back at the man, “yes Master.”
He runs out and finds a blue plant that is good for healing, grabs it and runs back in. “Here I found it.” he walks back to the strong girl looking into her eyes. “Try to rest; I don’t want you to feel the pain.” Looking back at him she nods and tries to go to sleep. He crushes the plant in his hand and gently wipes it across the wound. She flinches a bit at the stinging pain. He gets up, washes his hands and grabs a long piece of cloth. He tightly wraps it around her leg making the leg numb.
Looking worried, “will she be ok?” The man turns to face Feiyan, “yes, but it will be a painful recovery, since the snake stabbed one of its venomous teeth into her.
