so, i planned on not dating this year since its my senior year but then this sweet boy who really likes me asked me out and i said yes but he REALLY isnt my type and i really feel nothing for him and dont want to be dating so i want to put him down gently but easily...any suggestions?

Not really sure how I can help... I Can't give much dating advice. I've ever had a boyfriend! lol
But I think you should just be honest. Tell him that you don't feel for him that way, but you appreciate it and think he's a nice guy. He'll get over it, and you'll both end up happier, I think.

Well... I can't offer you any trustworthy advice. Not only have I never dated, but I really haven't had any crushes. o__O Its a weird mental block I won't get into right now. One thing you could do would be to lie and say that you think you're going to be really busy and that maybe you could try dating later. Hopefully by "later" he'll have moved on. But like I said, don't trust my advice. Its probably bad.

I don't think you should feel all that badly (tho' I understand where you're coming from). He'll be much happier in the end; pity dating would probably make him feel worse later.

I hate how much i care about how others feel crying even if i know they will be better off in the end, its sad at first.
