Hey all. I was surfing Google and found the Brownsville Herald article about Shimakon. It stated that there were 2000 attendees! Was this 2000 people in and out over the weekend or 2000 unique people? o-o For a first year con thats absolutely astounding! Go Shimakon!
Another question regaurding it... When I saw the hotel.... it was tiny. Was it completely packed?

I was there personally following the main guy. Kenichi-Sugisaki around...but anyway....that total was for all at once at the hotel, and yes it was packed....the lines to meet the voice actors and all that were long as hell.....

Yeap Shimakon was pack, was there helping out here and there.....
But the cool thing I like the all five voice Actors....
Love heart Chris Ayers heart because he made me laugh alot and feel special..... mrgreen

i went too i had a blast and im going back this year in 07. ya the hotel was packed and i had a lot of fun i stayed up late to chat with the voice actors and steve the artist they had. im going back despite what was going on in the thread in here. none the less i think he has a grudge against the kon.

to my opinion, there is no way that this person should have said such comments against Shimakon. When I was with them, we spent so many months trying to get things done and we did things so that the show. At Shimakon, the staff did make every effort to keep the con running smoothly as best as it should of. It ran smooth, with glitches, but it ran. When I resigned Shimakon, the staff knew what to do and to this day, I am sure that they are working hard to make it the best they can. So, L-A-N-Z-E-R if you are reading this, please make note that just because you had an unpleasant moment to Shimakon, I would suggest you please keep your comments to yourself and seeing that you have violated the terms and conditions, you are under warning before being removed from the guild. Please, be respectful to every con in Texas and in USA as a whole.
