I was wondering if any of the subs here have ever been in subspace and what they thought about it.
For the Doms I have the question if you've every seen a(or your) sub in subspace and what you have for experiences..
For instance(for both sub and Dom):
- what to do
- how do you recognise it
- what is it
- what does it mean for you
- what to keep in mind
- etc(add anything you'd like to, everything is welcome! heart )

This would actually make an excellent topic for the information center on the offsite. I'm going to start putting my thoughts together on the subject based on my experiences.

I'd like to learn more about this myself (especially how to induce it), so that seems an excellent idea. Another great thread might be reading: I've looked very hard for a book that describes S/M ettique.

can look into it, though I find that actual experiences will teach you proper etiquette faster, as what's excepted will vary depending on who you're dealing with. I don't think that there are any real set standards.

I used to have an article somewhere on subspace, but I think I lost it. I'll have to see if the person that originally sent it to me can find it agian.

I've personally never have gone into subspace during any of my sessions but I know a few people who have and they have written articles and such on their experiences. I think its time I contacted them and see about posting the articles.

Mmmmmmmmm subspace. Been there and am ready for the return trip.
It takes a very experienced Dom to get a sub into subspace. At least that is what I have found to be true. I played with several before I found one to take me into subspace and now I won't let him go.
When I am in subspace I loose the ability to talk. I babble incorherently or giggle (what happens to me with electric play). I was talking with someone who gets giggle fits as well so this is not uncommon. While subspace is a wonderful place to be you have to have a really good Dom who can read you well to keep you safe. It is certainly possible to go so deep that you are not in contact with the world outside of your head. Safewords...forgotten. Your Dom needs to know just how far he can push you without causing damange or things can go bad and you won't even know it for sometime.
I recently attended a branding seminar and watched the people being branded drop very very quickly into subspace. The brander kept checking on the conditon of the brandees. While they were all able to tell her that they were doing well you could see that they had disassociated with what was going on. They were spaced out. It was an awesome sight.

One of my girlfriends dropped into subspace twice, and I didn't know what it was the first time. The second time I knew to keep her feet elevated and keep her very warm. She simply wanted to not be touched during it, so I would stabalize her and then sit there and monitor her, and whe she came out of it, get her anything she needed.
edit: we were not involved in heavy play either time, really. I'm just incredibly agressive and violent during sex, though I think I recall the second time there was some beating and choking going on. The first time however was simply alot of repeated and agressive penetration.

I have read on subspace, and find that I want to go there so bad, but I also wont let my mistress do anything to serious until I turn 18. Course I think she would be doing the same thing anyway ^^

I don't think I'd want to cause/experience subspace. I like to have control over what I'm doing. However.
If there was a male I really, really trusted (I'm more willing to play the sub with men but usually I'm always the dom) I think minor subspace'd be fine. Like being in so much pleasure I could barely talk. Something like that. I don't like pain inflicted on me so -shrug-
