There's a stupid oblivion gate just outside the Arcane University, and I go there all the time (I'm an arcane fratboy) and I was getting tired of that gate right there being all evil and menacing, so I decided to go inside and destroy it but when I went inside I couldn't find any entrance to the main tower. It's driving me insane. Does anyone know how to get in?

There should be a cave you go through or you'll have to enter lesser towers to unlock gates.

i think i knwo which oblivion it is theres only liek 7 different versions and there was one that gave me the same prblem took me hours to get it closed
u have to go into all the other towers and hit all the switches to extend all the bridges and then go back and forth between the main tower and what not and eventually you will get to the top of the main tower and be able to close the oblivion gate
