  This is where members of all the races can get together and post information they've found about their race, or to be more specific their race's culture. This includes myths and legends about anything from a great red dragon to a tiny knome.

I'll start it off! For the mortals, we're begining in more of a celtic than a medieval right now, so clothing was: -No Socks, they lined shoes with dry grass -No Hats -Basic Male Clothing: Tunic - A long shirt worn on the upper body. Braecci - Trousers or worn on the legs. Belts - One to hold the trousers up, and one around the tunic. Pouch - Holds personal items. Hangs on the belt Shoes - Worn on the feet for protection. Cloak - Worn over the shoulders as a coat -Basic Female Clothing: Tunic - A long shirt worn on the upper body Dress - One piece full length outer garment. Can have sleeves. Peplum - Tubular dress without sleeves. Skirt - Worn round the waist to cover the legs. Belt - Worn around the waist. Pouch - Holds personal items. Hangs on the belt Shoes - Worn on the feet for protection. Cloak - Worn over the shoulders as a coat -Accessories Shoulder bags - Leather bags for carrying. Jewellery - Gold, silver, bronze. Combs - Bone, antler, wood. Mirrors - Bronze Make up - Worn by the ladies. Knives - Personal knives for eating with. Amulets - To ward off the wrath of the gods, and ghosts.

Okay, Youkai time.
Myths:
The Labrynth They say that whomever can find their way to the center learns the secrets of all things. Said to be a magical spring somewhere within. Built by Sayoran Shonten, First Youkai King
Sayoran Shoten: He was the first true ruler of the Youkai. Though his first name means "little wolf" he was a giant of a wolf youkai. He was rumored to have been well over 7 foot tall. His rule was so long ago that even with Youkai's long lives and longer memories, no one can remember anything outside of the stories.
Cloths used: Silk Satin Cotton Linnen
Weapons: Katana-Katana are distinguished from broadswords for the extremely sharp edge and the slightly curved blade.Wakizashi-Shorter than the Katana (about 68 cm) Tanto-This is a small japanese knife from the same steel as the Katana and the Wakizashi. Naginata-A pole arm with a single, curved blade on one end Jo-A shorter staff (about 1.35 M) Fans-Either made with sarp blades or metel Shuriken-all daggers small enough to hide in a palm, often poisened Kunai-Small triangular bladded Knives Kama-Originaly a farming tool to weed plants. Because the farmers were not allowed to carry weapons they used their tools to defend themselves. This weapon is most know for its use by ninjas. Bo-A large staff (about 2 M) Keibo-A small stick (about 35 cm) Tonfa-A nightstick with a handle attached to the side of it Nunchaku-Two sticks connected by either a small cord or chain Yari-Japanese spear Jutte-used for trapping the blades edged weapons as well as jabbing, striking and trapping fingers. Yumi-typical Japanese bow is 2.3m length, made of bamboo with a string of silk and pine resin. An arrow is made of bamboo and bird feather Ebo- A very small stick (about 15 cm) Puado-originally an infantry weapon, has been adopted into a Martial Arts weapon

Youkai have a strong sense of honor, and only the lesser mononoke would even consider such a thing (as fighting dirty). A youkai would rather lose the batle and it's life then to resort to winning dishonorably
