In the upcoming battle-system, the jobs are going to be defined solely on equipment and the stats earned as a result of them. While this will make for some downright awesome mix-'n-match, a good chunk of us are going to irreversibly screw up our characters (i.e. archer/ninjas, gunner/healers, etc.). But, if you could make any ideal a reality, what would it be?
Personally, I'm as much for flashy special effects and status ailments as I am for hitting things until they die. So I want to be an attack mage.

I would like to be a defensive/healing type. Something like an alchemist.
Alchemist Mage, I guess.

Im thinking of being either a Clerk, or a Mage. I love the color orange so Im hopeing that theres an orange Magic Ring for the class system. blaugh

I'd definitely want to be some kind of healing/cleric class. I love the thought of a browser-based mmo where I can do that. whee
If not, I'll just become a ninja. teehee.

Personally? Dragon Shaman, or possibly Bard.
Give me a load of auras, healing capablities, and some strange techniques, such as Bardsongs or Breath Weapons, and I'm a happy slayer of all that is unholy and mean.

I think I just want to kill s**t by clicking on it, nothing flashy. xd
But a straight sword class always gets pwned later on when people have super abilities, so I'd like to see a lot of defensive magic as well.

I'd just LOVE to be a a Blue Mage like in Final Fantasy. I would be able to use abilities I can learn from monsters while also doing decently in up close combat, preferably with something like my G-Blade. cool Or something similar to a character like Sora from Kingdom Hearts. blaugh heart

A red mage-like(mage with a sword or a weapon wth a blade at least) or a plain ol' mage on my main and maybe like an unarmed fighter on this one. 3nodding

Well, there's a few choices for me...
A Defending/Elemental wielder hybrid Class: This would implement deffensive powers on a melee character, so he could be somewhat of a Tanker and absorb damage. The Elemental side would be enchanting weaponry/armor to give it secondary effects, like a damage shield effect to inflict elemental damage on enemies that hit the character. Only one element could be utilized at a time.
Status Effect/Area of Effect ranged Class: A flat-out group affecting class, which would have powers similar to Auras situated around the character, but some could be targeted on enemies and their vicinity. Most skills would be worked around hampering enemies (group poisoning, more potent single target poisonings, AoE Slows, AoE Blindness, ect.).
I'll post more when I think of some nicer combos. :3

I'd like to see a croos between a gunner and a sword master lol hold an AK-47 in my left hand and sword in right hand xd if none of that ninja or knight something along those lines.

I like Magic better than Melee.
My definition of winning is to go all out not trying to protect your skin.
I guess Wizard is the best for me.

NO way me too! I want to be a Blue Mage/Paladin!! I'll use my holy sword and slay zombie/undead/etc. and use my skill I learn from monsters. Or maybe just a ninja. ninja

Since we can create our own classes ala Oblvivion by choosing to level up the skills we want, I think I'm going to go with my Fable character, a heavy hitting physical warrior with a powerful magical area attack. I think I'll name the class "Avatar" like my character's title.
