Stretching his body with a contented squeak, Matangn laid on the floor of the white hallways, basking in the broken light of the tall foggy paned stained glass windows. He was growing accustomed to the castle and the boy had decided he'd never want to leave this place. The kirin rolled over and curled up, his tail wrapping around his tiny little body. As a weird twist of habit, Mata had taken a liking to lying on the floor in the middle of passageways or stairs and dazing off until he had to scamper to the library and further his studies and learnings.

Giving a hich-pitched yawn, Mata snuggled up to the warmth of the floor and lied there quietly and happily.

As Sophie opened the window from her room, the light illuminated right through. As the sunshine lit the room, Sophie smiled and stretched her arms and wings. It was a marvelous day, the sun was high in the sky, and the garden just below was green as ever. It had seemed that the soldiers were out for today, so there wasn't much work at all. Even so, Lena took the perfect chance to train Angy with her clerical spells, while Luke is off to a "Field trip" to the cities weopen shop. So it was just her, and Charmy. But ofcourse, since Charmy was on one of her "Adventures" again, Sophie was all alone.

Sophie shook her head. "My my...What am I going to do." She said as she held her chin. She flutterd out of the condo, and then decided to wander around the castle. "Perhaps the maids wouldn't mind if I explore this place." She said with a smile. She continued to flutter about the castle, perhaps someone would be awaiting her?

Mata picked his head up from the floor, looking around the hallways in a scared wonder as he listened to the footsteps echo and reverberate off the walls. Were there ghosts again that were actually people? The kirin boy lifted himself up off the floor so that he was leaning on his arms and he raised his voice timidly, "Hullo?"

As a voice was hear from the corner, Sophie quickly flutterd up the stairs. She carefully took a peak, to the side of the wall. "Hello? Is someone there?" She asked. The fae then decided to poke her head out, to examine who spoke earlier before. Her eyes grew wide as she saw a strange looking boy, looking a tad bit younger then herself. Hmm...A horn? I don't suppose he's a human.

Sophie gave a smile, and stepped closer to the boy. "Oh...Hello. Who are you? I don't believe we've met yet." Sophie said as she gave a nod. She then descended onto her feet, and awaited for an answer.

Upon seeing the new face of this fae-like being, the kirin scrambled a couple feet away from her, his red amber eyes wide and his yellow scarf, rustling around his shoulders. The young woman who stepped around the corner had large jewel-like butterfly wings and she seemed garbed in the shades of blue. Knitting his brows together, the albino boy answered in a soft, wary tone, "Answer me first who you are. Are you a ghost? Are you going to haunt me? You're not like Claus or Quo, your hair isn't white." He nodded his curved horn low as he tilted his chin shyly to his chest, Mata's little heart beating quickly with fear of the unknown. She was pretty...Did beauty know evil, or was it always good?

Sophie gave a slight chuckle as she gently put her hand on her mouth. Although the introduction seemed quite rude at first, Sophie dismissed it for his naive response. "A ghost? I'm not very sure they exist. My name is Sophie. I am a maid in the castle. Who are you? It seems you are just lying here so casually." Sophie replied as she knelt down.

"Come now, one musn't be scared. What is your name? I haven't seen you in the castle before. Are you new here?" Sophie asked.

Mata nodded his head to her questions and still curled up his body against her coming so near and to his own level. Timidly he wrapped his tail around his ankles and hugged his knees to his chest, looking at the butterfly winged lady with his large wide eyes. The only people he's ever met before were the magi, that's all, and this new lady was certainly strange for him if not for her.

"I-I'm Matangn. I'm new. Why shouldn't I be scared? Claus said that ghosts exist."

Sophie thought for a moment. "Claus? You mean the Magi Claus?" Sophie asked as she sat down on the floor. "Well...Atleast I don't think they exist. But then again...If their are clerics in the world, there may be..."Sophie said as she held her chin. She then shook her head, and looked back at the boy. "Well anyways, theres nothing to be scared of in the castle. Oh, it's just about time for breakfest. Would you like to join me for some tea and sandwiches? There are many left over in the kitchen." Sophie said with an assuring smile.

The boy watched Sophie with his fearful pondering gaze and tried to study her intentions. Mata still wasn't sure about her character, after all, he'd only known her for a couple minutes. However, the magi did try to persuade him to go out and meet people, so he would try to do at least that much to please them. Shaking his head to answer her invitation, the fearful boy replied softly, "I already had something to eat. C-Claus showed me the kitchen before anyone else was t-there."

Giving her another curious but wary glance, Mata inquired, "What are those things on your back? Do they move? Why do you have them? What are you?"

"Oh okay then." Sophie said as she slowly stood up again. Perhaps she was being too forward? It had seemed strange, the first man in the castle she's spoken to, who would deny such an invitation. She brushed some dust off her dress, and gave a slight bow with her head.

"Um...You mean my wings? I'm sure you've seen a butterfly before right? Um, well, they enable me to be able to fly." Sophie replied. "Um...Well certainly, I am not human. I am a Willa, a faerie of some sort." She said gently, with a nodd. "Um...Well, I haven't had alot of time reading about my race, so I do not know much but...You must know by now that I am a legian. Aswell as you, certainly your appearence doesn't make yourself human at all." Sophie chuckled. "I'm sure you have heard of Lady Reus? She is my creator."

"Wings?" The boy hugged his knees tighter and simply gave her an awkward glance, as if he wasn't sure that she was telling the truth or not. "I've never seen a flu-flutterby. What's fly? I don't understand."

Then with his wide golden eyes, he nodded at her observation and tilted his horn silightly to the side as he moved his white-haired head, "I am a legian too...Ergo is my creator but I haven't met Reus yet. I've been staying near Claus." Mata watched her get up and immediately he felt small and child-kie compared to her. He didn't like that feeling but it was one that he was used to at the moment. He was still so very new to the world.

"Ah, Sir Ergo." Sophie muttered quietly. Sophie did have quite a chucke with the word, "Flutterby" as it seemed the boy had not been out of the castle walls very much. "Um...Who is your guardian? Is he or she, around in the castle at the moment?" Sophie asked.

Matangn shook his white haired head in reply to her question and shrugged his shoulders weakly. He had been told that he was brought to Claus and then passed on to Ergo by an old man. Mata had wanted to meet this man, but Claus seemed to dislike this old man very much. The white-haired magi had bitterly sworn that he wouldn't let the old man come close to the kirin, so...Mata guessed that the old man wasn't his guardian. If anything, the magi council, but he didn't have anyone official.

"I don't have a guardian. The magi council look after me. Am I supposed to have a guardian? Do you have one?"

"You...Don't have a guardian? I had thought that all Legains should have a human guardian, before their decision of departure." Sophie said, quite bemused. "Well, I suppose not then, in your case. But I guess the magi council could be considered your guardians then...As long as you have a family, I'm pretty sure that's fine." Sophie said, somewhat reluctantly. No Guardian? Sophie thought of how If Angy, or Lena, or Luke was there. She had grown to love her family more and more, and she didn't like the thought of not having a loving family, probable.

"Well...Since I suppose our introduction's are quite finished, is there a certain purpose you are here? Where do you live? I hope it's not here, certainly. Or you must live with one of the magi-council?" Sophie asked. She was quite interested, in knowing how...Different this Legains situation was.
