I figured a post on movies in general would be fun

Any movie at all.. Old, relatively new, or still in the movie theaters.. ^_^

For example what are your thoughts on RENT.

I saw the movie and never before have i been so agitated that almost every conversation was in song. I was so impatient! I kept thinking, GET ON WITH IT ALREADY I DON"T NEED TO HEAR THE CHORUS OF YOUR CONVERSATION!

but, thats just me, what are your thoughts?

I rememeber Rent whee ! I liked it, personally. I liked the overall message. The ending made me cry though...

The only musicals I've really seen are Rent and Phantom of the Opera; and both as theatrical releases ^^;.

Eh, I was never into movies like that xp . I don't believe I've ever seen more than five minutes of Jackass at any given time.

What I want to see now is The Grudge 2 whee .

really? i saw the first one and well, i think the key elements are really great. Of how when someone dies unmarrily lets say, something stays behind. And in my psychology class in highschool my teacher was talking about how when theres a strong negative emotion and that person dies, there is a negative energy in that area. So in reality this stuff holds up, but they reallly over did it in such a way where it doesn't make sense anymore.

[POSSIBLE 1ST MOVIE SPOILER]They mention how anyone who steps into that house gets killed right? why is it anyone?before hand it was specific people. And then ALL these cops were in the house inspecting the bodies correct? they're all gonna die too right? but no! it never mentioned that. I think they're trying to stretch someting that is nearly impossible to stretch out anymore. *sigh*{END}

Well I personaly like Mr. Hayao Miazaki's movies: Castle in the sky, Howls moving castle, Princess Mononoke, the cat returns, Spirited Away... so on and so forth. Have you herd of him and if so do you like his movies?

Ah heart I love his movies... I own, like, five of them... I loved Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away the best... whee

Since it's Halloween time and they've been having a bunch of Halloween-ish movies on ABC Family, I got to see 'It' on Saturday. Has anybody else seen that? I really liked it all the way up until the last, eh, two minutes? Yeah, the ending was BS to me, but the story was interesting... now I want to read the book to see what they cut out... whee

Really? I bet you'd like Les Miserables (even tho it's not technically a movie...) It's really cool!

My currently favourite movie right now is probably FInal Fantasy VII Advent Children.

I like Finding Nemo, and most of Miyazaki's films.
I Robot really makes me wonder if humans are actually an advanced form of robot, and if the title is the universes way of telling us so, each time we say it.

What a scary thought. eek Lol. I haven't seen I, Robot but I've seen similar sci-fi movies...

Hayao Miyazaki's movies are great! Although I have to watch them with the lights on. Spirited Away was his first movie that I'd seen (and now own) but No Face terrified me for about a week. XD

No face is kinda creepy, but I think he's just curious. It's a good thing that the old witch lady decided to keep him out of trouble.
I also like the Death Note movies, and loved Howl's Moving Castle 'cause Howl reminds me of my "friend". whee
