Some of my favorite bands include Dream Theater, King Diamond, Megadeth, Iced Earth, Dio, and Manowar.
My favorite overall progressive metal bands are Queensryche, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Fates Warning, and Devin Townsend Band. I'm also a big fan of progressive rock groups such as Rush and YES.

My favorite prog band is, hands-down, Dream Theater. Other prog bands/artists that I like include practically any DT side projects (Frameshift, Liquid Tension, Mullmuzzler/JLB Band), Ayreon, and Blind Guardian.

(and i think the vocals are better)

Azimio Thanks for the suggestion. Any album in particular ? smile the have only 2 albums as far as i know. Out of myself, which i think is really their best, sounds the most as Pink floyd. second life syndrome. which is their best rated album. sounds a little harder, more dream theater influence
http://riverside.art.pl/mp3/07.Riverside_-_In_Two_Minds_hi.mp3
try it smile not their best number on the album. (and normally its against the rules to listen only 1 number, because there is a sory inside the album)
edit: http://riverside.art.pl/mp3/07.Riverside_-_In_Two_Minds_hi.mp3 my personal favorite, the start is a bit weird, but halfway it gets beautifull!
