Saw something special at a concert? Saw a great live band and want to talk about it?

Feel free to talk about anything related to live concerts that you have seen or want to see. Show your experience with others biggrin

Yeah, last year's october (2005) I saw James LaBrie PLAYING keyboard. However, he doesn't actually know how to play with others because halfway the part he played he walked away from the keyboard to drink some water leaving a huge gap into the music.

Hahahaha, he's a man of many talents; he plays the tamborine, stick thing... rofl Seriously though, he's definitely my favorite singer. He's truely inspirational to me.

I saw the Jimmy Swift Band recently in NB. I don't know if you could call them prog or not, but they're probably the closest thing to prog I've seen live so far. They were playing at a bar, and my friends and I got there early so we got to meet the band, get an advanced copy of their new CD and get autographs. That, and we pretty much had front-row seats (I could've touched the guitarist). It was a very memorable experience.

Not really an experience (YET) but I have a few upcoming concerts in the next few months:

- Roger Waters: Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon
- Tool & Muse (hitting BDO '07)
- and G3 - with Satriani, Vai and ********. whee

I'm very quite poor now, but heck, that's quite alright.

Ditto with Waters, I'll hopefully be seeing him at Earl's Court next year. What an amazing gig that will be.

Yeah.. at the very end of the show. But he's kinda funny xd He tries hard to don't look bored at long solo's from Petrucci. Then he "plays" tambourine or shaker in a very weird rhytm xp
