 Who here likes Peter Pan? For some reason I really like the scene with the mermaids. My favorite character is Wendy and my favorite song is "What Made the Red Man Red"

I'm not too fond of Peter Pan. I don't think I've ever really seen the whole movie yet...
But anyway, my favorite, if I even have one, is probably Peter. Or maybe the Lost boys, they're pretty funny too. The mermaid scene was pretty nice too, especially seeing Wendy be so jealous. 4laugh Oh well.

The truth is I love the idea behind Peter Pan, and I would love to read the books. But I don't like the Disney Movie. I adore Captain Hook and Peter's performance but I HATE Wendy! And it can't be the character, because I like Wendy from the recent live action version. I just don't like how she is a completely boy crazy mini-Cinderella.
And I find the take on Indians to be very insulting and rascist and that tends to take me out of the film.

Peter Pan is one of my favorites! I love everything about it. Yeah, Wendy's a little annoying, but I can live with it because the rest of the show makes up for it. My favorite part is when Tigerlily's been kidnapped and Peter rescues her from Captain Hook.

And I find the take on Indians to be very insulting and rascist and that tends to take me out of the film. One thing you've gotta remember about the Indians is that the movie was made fifty years ago, when they tended not to think about those kind of things. There are other old Disney movies that have similar race issues in them, but they didn't mean anything by it, it just reflected the times. At least the Indians aren't the bad guys, right?

I understand that completely, but I don't have to like it. That is like giving them a free pass, and by accepting something now just because "that's the way it was," isn't the proper way to deal with something as important as segragation and prejudice, even if the intent that many years ago was not to necessarily further that.

im gona have to say my favourite character is Tinkerbell (yeh most ppl do like her and she is 1 of the popular choices of favourite)
but i have always loved her, the way she is a bit mischievious and gets jealous of wendy, but (yeh i know shes only a character, and a vain 1 at that) but i loved her outfit smile
like i have said i love tinkerbell and when i went to disney land paris i was like wow, there was so many tinkerbell things i could buy
in the end i got a tinkerbell snowshaker thing, a sort of statue/ doll thing (hard to explain what it actually is) and i had to get a wand aswell biggrin

Aw man...I really have to get to Disney land once. When it comes to cuteness, Tinkerbell definetly was my favorite char.

i love going in the disney shop when i got to town with my mates, (they rnt as big a fans of disney as me)

I really loved this movie, like abnormaly, the Big cheif,Micheal, and Smee are my favorite characters.... and my favorite part is when Smee is shaving Captain Hooks face and shaves the bird instead...

Peter Pan has everything every child adores, that's why I love it so much. Pirates, mermaids, flying, Indians, swords and no parents!! lol and a secret tree house to live
in. I wish I cud fly, I used to have the costume of Peter Pan and I wore it around Walt Disney World Paris and the guy dressed up as Captain Hook there chased me!! hahahaha

Peter Pan is one of my favorits. I have seen almost all the different versions, plus it was the first one I saw on Ice and I saw the play. The only one I haven't seen is the one that recently came out on vidio.

I can't stand "Return to Neverland" though, I think it's an insult to the original movie crying mef mef mef sad
