 I for one love this movie. If you haven't seen it I suggest that you do. I love all the characters but my favorite would have to be Jim and Morph. My favorite scene is the stuff you see throught out the soung "I'm Still Here". I love the music in it too 3nodding

Ooh! I really loved that one. I can't think of a favorite scene on the top of my head, but my favorite character probably was either Morph or Captain Amalia. She was pretty cool. 3nodding

I really liked this movie. I find the animation for both Jim and Silver to be some of the best Disney has ever produced. Sure, the entirel computer based back grounds are weak in places, but once the technology is improved, this will be the way of the future. I am also disappointed at how badly it did. It isn't the best Disney movie by any stretch of the imagination, but people were far too hard on it. In the end, I think it won't be hated as much as it is now in 10 years, but right now people are really critical of Disney and any weakness is brought to light much easier.
But remember, Pinocchio was a bomb when it was first released as well, so there is hope for this movie yet!

Yeah, the movie got a lot of bad press, but I'm proud to say I still loved it. The animation is absolutely breathtaking. And this is kind of sad to admit, but I kind of had a huge crush on Jim Hawkins for weeks after I saw that movie. And he's an animated character! ...I realize that's just wrong.
I also like the rock song written for the movie, by that guy from Goo Goo Dolls whose name I can't spell. Johnny Rzeznik or something?

That movie made me cry! crying I thought it was clevery made, with aninmationa and the storyline, with all the portals etc. I've got the soundtrack to and I can play "I'm Still here" on guitar. Love that song heart

I think I love that movie wayyy too much.
Seriously, though. Nobody ever gives it the credit it deserves. The animation is so beautifully done, and the whole movie is just so awesome.
and there's NOTHING WRONG with having crushes on cartoon characters.... stare

As a long-time Goo Goo Dolls fan, finding Johnny Rzesnik on the soundtrack was a very pleasant suprise.
I thought the movie was decent, but I can't say that it's my favorite rendition of Treasure Island. (That honor belongs to Muppet Treasure Island. Tim Curry rocks.)

I think I might have actually liked the story even better if Disney had done a more traditional rendition of treasure island. Like, you know, in the 18th century or whatever. Still, you can't deny that the outer space setting made for some pretty amazing backgrounds.

This is definitely one of my favorite Disney movies. Don't get me wrong it's nice to have romance, but I liked not seeing it for once. I adore Morph's little "spider psycho" imitation. How can you not love that?
Having crushes on animated characters is a common occurance with me. xd I guess this is why none of my relationships work out. My standards are too high. *lol*
