As the dropship landed He reactivated the motors and needed systems then stood the Mech and walked it out of the drop ship rifle at the ready not knowing what to expect then. " well in anycase despite what we need to do, try not to blow the enemy into smitherines. that way we get good salvage and spare parts. "

Ermor activated his sytsems and manuevered out of the door. "Armorius is right, try to only disable, not completly destroy." Looking around the baren surface of the moon, there were troops and Mecha lined up, ready to move at a moment's notice. One of the hospital tanks seemed to be used as a temporary base of operations. "Alright, if you need ammunition, go to one of the repair tanks to see if they have what you need. However you should already be fully loaded and ready to fight." He says, waving his Mecha's arm towards some of the repair tanks. "We'll move out in a little while after I speak to the commanding officer."

Suddenly, the mercenaries heard a low rumble off to the east. A lick of fire, a bright dot on the sky, appeared low over the horizon. "It's a missile! I'll get it!" said Jeffie eagerly. "No," Ermor said. "Wait." The fire grew larger and brighter by the second. Ermor scanned the target, took some data, and finally realized. "It's a mobile suit. Adler and his Aries to be exact. He said he'd be coming late."
In the Aries, Adler pressed the controls to deploy airbrakes and apply reverse thrust. He came to a smooth halt in front of his team. "Hey guys," he said casually. "Reporting as ordered, General."

Ermor plodded over to two canisters. "Armorius, since you have the other humaniod Mecha that can lift some weight, take one of these with you." Ermor's Mecha reached down and lifted up one of the canisters. He swung it up and it landed on the Mecha's shoulder with a loud crash. "We have to bring some of our units to the battle field." he explained. "Enemy forces nearing the camp, prepare for battle. Repeat, enemy forces nearing the campsite, prepare for battle. Small squad of Commando Mecha approching." An unidentified voice said over the com systems. "Thats our cue." Ermor says, hefting his weapon.

"Sir, my Aries is our fastest unit, if I'm not mistaken," Adler stated. If you need me to scout ahead, I'm here for you." With that, he brought up his launcher's HUD display and configured the detonation settings for the incoming hostiles. "Aside from my chain rifle and these light rockets, I brought along two 1,000 pound tactical nuclear missiles and two 120mm cannon pods, if you need some artillery."

"Nothing nuclear, I want to leave the surface as unmared as possible." Ermor says, thinking about the best possible course of action. "Also, Jeffie's unit is faster than yours at full power." Ermor scanned the Mecha ahead, using the longest range sensors his machine had. "Its doesn't look like they have anything special with them. Wait, looks like they have a canister with them, larger than these two here." He says. "If I'm right about whats in that canister, we're in for a long fight." He swung the canister that was on his shoulder onto the ground. He twisted the top of it and the clamps on the sides began opening. The bottom of the canister expeled smoke and Ermor lifted the top of it. Once the casing was fully off, 25 tank like machines were ejected from the sides.

Armorius made confirmation with Ermor and completely ignored the knewcomer as he looked at the terrain and surroundings. He then went over to the canister and hoisted it easily onto the left shoulder rendering the triple barrel beam gun unusable. unless he dropped the canister. His other hand reached up and grabbed the long Oxchon rifle and brought it forward as the alert came on. He then activated the scanners and noticed something in the distance. "Sir, what are in these canisters." He would wait for an answer. He then manipulated the controls making his Mecha turn so that the right side was facing south as the head turned to look the rifle raised. His eyes narrowed and the arm moved ever so delicately. When the feeling in his gut clutched sharply He pulled the rigger. A defining boom from the large rifle echoed and the recoil knocked the suit back abit, as a large magnum slug flew past only a few meters from Emor's shoulder. A couple of miles out in at a distance only a sniper would be able to hit anything Dabris from an enemy Mecha flew out and the owners entire body seemingly fell off to the side from behind a boulder revealing the head a small portion of the chest severly damaged from the precision sniper shot. He then read all readings and flipped the OS keyboard out to make some adjustments to the program to conpinsate for the lost of the other hand. "about six more got smart and are staying down. As a Tactician I can say the six hiding are a recon team. scanning the Mechas make it's lightly armed with long range and scouting equipment. Commander It's your play." He copied Ermor's actions with the canister then Rewrote the OS as needed.

Jeffie, having very little actual battle experience, is beginning to get nervous. "So, we're trying to shoot them down, but only disable them? Like, try not to hit the reactor or power core, right?" Anxiously, he looks forward, scanning the approaching enemy lines.

"These canisters have the Squirrel Avenger Tanks in them. Also, before I forget, when you shoot one, the rest all come after you. If they attach themselves to you, they self destruct with quite a large explosion for their size. They'll take a limb if not more." He explained. "Yes, Jeffie, try to only disable. It shouldn't be too hard and, most of cores are highly armored to prevent detonations." Ermor looked at his list of units they brought with them. He radioed the commander of the Odin Mechas and told him to shell the postion of the Mecha in the distance. Each of the Mecha launched a short volley, then stopped. "That'll shake them up." Ermor muttered to himself. "Alright, Jeffie and Adler, you guys scout ahead and try to take out a few of them in the process. Don't try anything fancy though." Ermor says, motioning to them.

"Yes sir," answered Adler. "Let's get a move on, Jeffie!" With a quick punch of some buttons, the Aries transformed into its flight mode and rocketed straight up into the air, coming to a hover at about one thousand feet. He patched into video communications with his teammate. "With all due respect, Jeffie, the Aries is faster than the Phoenix. I don't know where General Ermor got his statistics, but he's off. Don't tell him I said that though." With a wink, he engaged main thrust and started climbing. "This suit's a fuel hog at low altitudes. I'm going to climb high. Besides, that'll give me a better view, right?" Adler then switched his radio's focus over to the General. "Sir, I'll report back at about 0400 Zulu," Adler said as his mech began to fade, a small speck on the dark lunar sky.

Armorius looked over the scanners and the most up to date map of the surface and area. " General, all things considered, the tactical nukes my be of some use. a threat so big to the enemy would not be ignored. If they have a base here we can set them to detonate far enough from the surface as to create a good distraction. We can Stow them away if we ever need them for such a thing." He read over all the data he had and linked com channels. " abour eighty miles past sector alpha twenty two is a large crater with high walls an protection. Judging by the scan of that scout he was covered in lunar dust whic suggest one of three things. one he climbed up the inside of the crater, two he tripped or fell, or three a dust storm, however highly improbable without an atmosphere. The base would be vulnerable to attack but well hidden. Shelling would decimate. in the chance that he is a rookie and just fell, well, I'd hate to be wrong. they'd have to be close. Adler has more experience it seems you could send him to scout there, a base hidden like that might have Anti air defenses, he would do better maybe to get out if needed. It's up to you though General thats just all I've surmised assessing th terrain. I wanna get this over with quickly."

"Awaiting orders, sir," Adler said nervously. He had been keeping his eye on a very faint blip three miles from the camp that appeared on his electronic warfare display as soon as he had landed on the moon. It was very possible that it was just interference, but it was nevertheless something to monitor. Adler continued to stare at the display, thinking.
Just as he looked away, the contact strength spiked in power, now bright green on the display. It then began to flicker quickly. Wheeling the Aries around toward the bearing of the source, Adler shoved the throttles forward, dove at the ground, and shouted to his teammate. "Hey, Jeffie, keep me covered!" Adler pulled up and flew as low and fast as possible. Passing through four hundred miles per hour, he patched the electronic warfare readout into his combat module.
"That pulsing radio source was probably a burst transmission from the enemy. I'll bet you anything there's a mech there calling his buddies and telling them all about us. The bastards! How did we miss them?"
The enemy was now two miles away. The target designator was fixed behind a tall ridge.
"That's why we couldn't see them on the ground. They were masked by the terrain. Luckily, we were just high enough to pick up that radio source. Let's get 'em Jeffie!"
In one smooth motion, Adler transformed the Aries into humanoid form, and rotated 180 degrees. Now travelling toward the ridge backwards at 200 miles per hour, he released the servo joysticks and switched to the mobile suit's bio-amplification controls. He and his mecha were now one. When Adler moved, the mecha moved too. He raised his arms as if he were holding a rifle himself and watched with an awe that never died as the Aries copied his motion and brought the gun up into a firing position.
The mecha blazed over the ridge and a stationary convoy of six Thor tanks came into view at the base of the ridge. They were going to shell the camp! Time seemed to come to a crawl. Adler crisply squared the rifle sight on the treads of the lead tank and fired a volley of heavy depleted uranium slugs into the vehicle, rendering it unable to move. He then fired a quick burst at the turret in order to disable the cannon. The other tanks reacted quickly; Adler saw the five active turrets spin toward the Aries.
"Whoa, whoa, guys, I could use some help here!" Adler called to anybody who would listen as he turned the mecha about and landed on the ground, about two hundred yards from the convoy, using the lunar dunes for cover.

Ermor activated full combat power supplies, forcing the reactor to full capactiy in a matter of seconds. The machine around him now carried differently, using more power to make its movements more fluid and human-like. Everything his cameras had picked up before became sharper and differently coloered. Enemies becames red, allies blue, unknowns green, and unactive machines as a light grey. Large blotches of grey were quickly replaced with blue as many of the Mercs machines activated. Ermor lifted off, though moving shakily at first. In a matter of moments, he jetted forward, going towards Alder's position. "I'll be there soon, Alder, try to hold your position until help arrives." Ermor traveled at top speed, shunting most of his power to his thrusters. He reached Alder's position in a few minutes, having to defend some shots from the tanks with his shield.
When Ermor reached Alder's position, his warning signals were going off from the large amount of heat being generated. He flushed his coolant, replacing it with fresh stuff. His warning signals died instantly, also sending out a cloud of green steam in the process. Ermor raked his weapon across three of the tanks, destroying them quickly. He switched to the shot gun like attachment on the bottom of his gun, blowing another tank to srapnel in a shot. He then strapped his weapon onto his machine's back, using quick release magnets to attach it. One of his beam sabers jumped from his mecha's ankle, igniteing right when it was grasped. He slashed across the cockpit of tank, expertly rendering it useless.
Ermor turned off his beam saber and dropped it into his machine's ankle again. He turned his Mecha towards Alder. "Have you sustained any damage?" he asks, making sure his recruits didn't sustain too much damage from this battle. Ermor cut his power back down to normal levels, making his sensors average again.
