Setting A fairly large and diverse city similiar to that of New York or Chicago. The downtown area towards the center, a decent sized park with a small forest further in the south, a lake that takes up a good portion of the northwest border, and with a lot other smaller sections filled in between. It's a place that's dominated neither by the Angels or the Demons.
Plot Nothing too much. Just your average (or less than average) happenings in a city.
Rules 1. Follow the guild rules, and the rules of the shop thread. 2. No godmodding/powerplay/and all that other bad stuff 3. Please use brackets for any OOC comments. And try to leave OOC coversations to the shop thread. 4. Please rp in paragraph format. 5. Have fun!

It has been sometime since Blade first met with his Guardian Angel, Gambit, and he was slowly coping a little better with everything that he his new purpose.. Well, it was his only purpose really, so in a way, he didn't really mind it too much. But it was still a lot to deal with, especially since it all hit him so suddenly.
Shaking his head to himself, he just lowered his visor to his helmet and kick-started his bike. Other than marking souls for the side of Eterna, he still did his odds-and-ends jobs. Afterall, he still needed money in order to keep himself alive.
And he had some wanted objects in the backpack slung over his shoulders right now, that were ready to be delivered.
Though before long, he found himself stuck in traffic. Apparently, there was an accident further down the road. Grumbling a little to himself, he glanced around, waiting for the vehicles ahead to get moving.
"Yo! Blade!" called a familiar voice from above, "Get o'er t'de right lane if you can."
Gambit had just been flying around somewhat, and he figured it was about time that he check up on his seer. It sure wasn't too hard to find him, stuck in the middle of the road, getting nowhere. What had him a little bothered though, was the fact that one of the people caught up in the accident was a seer. He couldn't help but wonder if a demon had played a part in it somehow..

Brian shoved himself from his desk and stood, stretching and rubbing at his face. Another all nighter. Ever since his run in with Blade, he had had to work double time to catch back up in classes. Well, he told himself, that was what caffine was for.
He glanced out of the window and was a little surprised to see that it was later in the day than he had thought, but he couldn't put off his "other" duties any longer. Grudgingly, he picked up the note Yuna had left him on the corner of his desk. It listed the name of a person, small park and a time. . .which was. . .just thirty minutes from now. It wasn't very far from his little basement apartment. He could walk there and make it with several minutes left.
Lately, Yuna had been leaving him more and more of these notes, at least one a day, and Brian hated to see them. He didn't want to have "duties" just because he was a Seer, but he did. The greatest of those was reaping.
It made him feel a little strange that he was marking people's souls, but whatever. He did it anyway.
He shouldered his pack (it held an odd assortment of medical supplies and some weaponry) and headed oustide. Yuna met him on the sidewalk and chattered a greeting about how clear and beautiful the day was, but he shrugged and ignored her. Time to go to work.

Heaving a sigh, Blade managed to get out of the sluggish traffic after some time. It had taken him long enough to be moving at a good speed again, so now he was well on his way to get the stolen goods delivered. As he recalled, he recepient was waiting in the park, wearing a white overcoat and bucket hat.
Before long, he was parking his ride and heading out to search for the guy.
"Don't forget t'mark him while your at it," said Gambit as he began to walk along side the seer.
"Yeah yeah..."
Shaking his head to himself, he just kept walking towards a series of benches, where he was sure he'd find the person he needed to give the items to. He didn't really care about the marking of souls too much, but he didn't feel that he needed to be reminded it a lot.

Yuna trailed at Brian's side, unwilling to leave him no matter how much he argued with her. He finally gave up, sighed, and ignored her incessant chatter. Let her talk to herself, he thought.
As he entered the park, he noticed a sport bike parked nearby. He never had seen Blade's before, but he was reminded of the thief. How many people in Aremia owned sport motorcylces, he wondered.
"That can't be. . .?" he asked aloud, trying to catch Yuna's eyes.
"I don't know," Yuna admitted, realizing what he must be thinking. "It's possible, I guess."
Brian shrugged and walked on. Blade wasn't really a friend or even an acquaintence. There was no reason for him to go searching for the other Seer even if he did happen to be here. So, he just took another glance at the note and continued into the park.

After a little bit of searching, Blade managed to find the one he was looking for. With a slight grin, he walked up to the man in white and greeted him. After a few quick words, he dug into his backpack and pulled out a small cardboard box.
"You sure it's all in there?"
"Yeah, check for yourself," replied the thief as he opened it. Inside were two pricey watches and a few bracelets. Once the guy got a good look at them, he closed the box and traded it for another small box, which held his payment. Letting out a small sigh once this was done, he shook the man's hand and backed off.
Soul was marked, and he had more money to live off of.
"Dat guy seemed a bit uptight."
Gambit didn't expect a responce from Blade just yet on that, considering the man was still very much in hearing distance. Last thing he needed was to get his seer into trouble because of a petty insult.

After a while of looking for the person who belong to the name on his note card, Brian became exasperated.
"How exactly am I supposed to find this guy if all I know is his name? It'll take forever to ask every man in the park," he said, glaring at Yuna.
She shrugged. "You're the one who wanted to do it this way."
"Yeah, well. . .I change my mind," Brian mumbled.
"Ok then. He's right over there," Yuna said smugly, pointing to a brown haired, middle aged jogger in red shorts, a white sports tank, and tennis shoes who was approaching him down the path.
"I don't know why you insist on not letting me help you anyway," she grumbled, fluffing out her wings a little in frustration. "I am your Guardian afterall."
Brian ignored her and began walking in the man's direction, not looking at him exactly as to not scare him off. As the man passed, Brian bumped into his shoulder and ran his hand along the mans arm as if in accident. The man spun around, surprised and muttering obscenities. Brian just smiled to himself, muttered an apology, and walked on.
"There," he said. "Marked. Anything else I need to do here before I leave?"
"Not that I know of," Yuna replied. "I am anxious to get out of here myself. I feel like someone can see me."

With his work done, Blade had figured that he would head back to the main parts of the city to go about his business. Last time he checked, he needed to fill his fridge a little more..
"Hm..."
Glancing around, Gambit felt as if there was a seer or another immortal in the region. However, he couldn't really find either in the immediate vicinity when he looked. Shrugging this off a bit, he decided that he'd just keep an eye out in case what he was sensing wasn't a very good thing.
"Huh?" asked Blade.
"Ah nothin'. Jus' tryin' t'see if there's anyone around dats like us."
He grinned a little, to show that it really wasn't anything to worry about. And most likely, it wasn't. The dark winged angel didn't know why, but it seemed that lately, he hadn't really been seeing too many demons around. Maybe he was just lucky or something along those lines. Or perhaps the demon population had decreased for whatever reason.
Most likely, it was the former of those two options.
"You headin' back now right?"
The thief nodded, as he spotted his black and red bike further ahead. Now he too sensed that there was another immortal in the area, but as with Gambit, he didn't really see anyone that fit that description.

Brian turned back the way they had come, and as they neared the parking lot, he wondered if the sports bike would still be there. It was, and more importantly, a familiar back was walking just in front of him toward it. . .as was a all too identifiable pair of black wings.
Yuna noticed them long before Brian, bue she decided to stay quiet and let him work this one out on his own. In truth, she was pouting a little because of the way he was treating her, and she thought a little bit of his own treatment might do him some good.
He hung back, trying to decide whether to ignore them, try to get out of their vision, or call out to them. He decided on the latter. They weren't enemies, and there couldn't be any harm in saying hello.
"Hey!" he called, "when are you going to get me one of those?"

Hearing a familiar voice call out to him, Blade turned to the side to see a Seer-angel pair he had met with before. Grinning at the mention of getting a bike, he paused by his own and waved at them.
"Whenever you want one! Heh. Just let me know, and I'll get you the money needed soon. Unless you want to come with me to pick it out that is, which would be quicker"
Meaning, he could either gather up the money needed to buy one, or he could just grab one instead.
Standing on the other side of the motorcycle, Gambit waved at Yuna and Brian as well. While he wasn't excited to see them again or anything like that, it was just good to see that they were alright. It was also good to know that the ones he had sensed from earlier weren't enemies at all.
"How you two doin'? 'N dat head o'yours holdin' up ok, Brian?"

Lust sat in a tree watching these two angels talk. It wasn't like she ment to do so, it just happened. As she kept gazing off into the distance. She noticed a little baby girl sleeping alone in her carrier. The mother of course was talkin on her cell phone completly oblivious to her daughters needs.
A Bumble bee hovered above the girls head. Lust could tell this child was allergic to bees. With a flick of her wrist, Lust's finger shot forward stabbing the wasp, saving the girl. "Stupid Mortals," muttered Lust.

"I might just do that," Brian mumbled in response to Blade before putting a hand up to his head. "Oh, it's alright, I guess. Gotta go get the stitches out in a few days.
He glanced down at Blade's leg. "And you?"
Yuna stayed quiet, still pouting, and waved amiably.

Gambit raised an eyebrow at Yuna, who was being awefully silent. Then again, maybe she was usually a quiet person, and that night she was just being more talkative for some reason. He really didn't know her or her Seer well enough to be able to tell.
"Ah, it's healed up more the most part. Probably going to leave some light scars there, but it doesn't hurt anymore"
Nodding, Blade grabbed his helmet, just about ready to put it on, but a very distinct and loud noise rang through the park.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
Gunshots.
"What the--?!"
Quickly looking around to see who was shooting and what they were shooting at, the thief soon felt a tap on his shoulder by his Guardian, who had seen what was going on. Quite some distance away, but still within their line of sight, were five people. Two of them were under fire, while the other three were going after them. However, one of the attackers shot up into the sky for some reason...
"Its a demon!" exclaimed Gambit as he realized what was going on here exactly. Though, the one in the sky wasn't a demon, it was the one that had done the shooting.

"What are you doing up there?" asked Keiko. "Nothin, just watching the world pass by. Did you get what you needed?" "Yes, but it will most likely have no affect."
Keiko was dieing. Ever since he moved to that island of the coast, he had been becoming weaker as the days went on. Jack walked along side Keiko, holding the darling Sayuri in his hands.
"What is that you have there Sayuri?" questioned Lust. In the her hands was a fang of some sort. Could it have been the start of a demon? "Where the hel did you get this Sayuri?" Jack yelled. Sayuri's eyes began to flood with water, for she had only found it falling out of the sky.
Before Jack could do anything, Lust snatched the feather and slipped it into her bra. "You know damn well that we can't keep that.....THING with us. We have babies........." Jack stopped there for Keiko didn't know of this yet. "What if we can change it? Wht if.........." Lust turned around she sensed something. Looking over she saw a strange dressed man that had the appearance of a bandit. Jack also looked at a beautiful young woman. "Thats no mortal right there........" Jack said as he was watching her every move. Lust smacked Jack upside the head. "Lets go see them then," Keiko piped in.

"I still don't understand why -I- have to do it."
"Icarus, normal mortals cannot see us, you know very well why you have to do it."
Icarus lowered his head and sighed, long blonde locks drifting slowly below his shoulders. He walked hunched for a few feet, then lifted his head again. Beside him walked Red Star and Rosalind, who was holding the newest edition, Venyamin. He really wished they would have told him there was a baby coming...before it was actually there. And today all he really wanted to do was go grocerie shopping...
He sighed once again.
They were walking along the sidewalk, the person he was supposed to 'visit' lived less then a block away from the community park, and was supposed to be passing by shortly. At that moment a young woman in a buisiness suit was hurredly walking by with a briefcase. It was her. Acting as if he weren't paying attention Icarus bumped straight into her.
"Oh! I'm sorry!" with that, he patted her on the shoulder and continued on. He didn't particularly like doing this... but, atleast he got a nice view for the walk.
Rosalind was quick to chatter, bur Red Star was mostly silent as usual. As they neared the park boader, Venyamin let out a squeal. He was usually very quiet; unless he needed something, so the noise was unusual. Further away there was quite a commotion going on, and in the park itself there seemed to be..more guardians and seers.
Venyamin waved his hands at all of them and cooed.
Red Star turned and faced the crowd.
"Come. We shall see what is happening." With that, the small group quickly started heading towards the park...
