After much anticipation for this day to come, Vegeta was at the stadium quite early. After the announcer handed the microphone to him, Vegeta spoke, "Greetings everyone. This is the first match of the quarter finals, match nine of the tournament, Riakou versus myself, King Vegeta. Once Riakou arrives at the stadium, we can begin the match." With that word, the crowd roared in anticipation for the match to begin.

Vegeta then stepped out of the ring, on to the grassy area. At the same time, he removed his heavy Royal armour, placing it on the ground. He then extended his forearm, and with a green flash appeared some Namekian-Style clothing given to him nearly a decade ago. It was lightweight, and ideal for fighting, more so than his Royal armour. These clothes appeared very odd for a Saiyan to wear, however fashion was completely out of the question. Now that the quarter finals had arrived, Vegeta had to take the fights more seriously, thus he wore more suitable clothing.

That's odd. He's already transformed. Thought Vegeta, as he entered the ring and got into a Namekian-style fighting position. "Begin the match!" Yelled the announcer. As soon as Vegeta heard the word, a burst of bright green aura surrounded Vegeta, followed by the veins in his muscles to be more defined. He had entered his Namekian Rage transformation; with the equivalent power of a Super Saiyan, yet with the speed of a Super Saiyan 3. "Hope you've learned some new tricks since last time I saw you, Riakou." Said Vegeta, as he hurled forward, sliding on the arena floor with his right leg out, attempting to sweep his opponent off of his feet.

Vegeta placed his arms up in an 'X' formation, blocking the kick and sliding under Riakou as he flew over-top of him. The King quickly pressed his arm hard against the arena floor, boosting himself upwards as he flew into the sky, launching a green ki beam at his airborne opponent.

Vegeta placed his right forearm to his side, perpendicular to the ground, as the kick was blocked. He then spun around counterclockwise, grabbing Riakou's ankle with his left hand. Using it as a grounds to attack, Vegeta swung up his right elbow, attempting to smash it down on his opponent's leg.

Riakou managed to escape, however Vegeta flared up his bright green aura, and pursued him on foot with alarming speed, attempting a right jab to his solar plexis.

Without wasting any time, as Vegeta was on the other side of the stadium, he back-flipped in a full arch, coming directly above Riakou as he attempted to swing his foot backwards in mid-air, jabbing his heel into his opponent's back.

Riakou getting strike from behind was well put since he was blocking from only the front the kick at that speed kicked Riakou out of his placement and into the air. "Just as I expected..." Riakou puts his hands down to the stadium and flips backwards twice just before the edge before speed-dashing making him disappears. (Delayed and quick but vegeta can follow it) Again he was trying to get to close quarters fighting with Vegeta.

"That's some speed you have. I've never seen you demonstrate this before." Said Vegeta in a compliment, as he dashed forward to meet with his Saiyan opponent, as he extended his right knee, attempting to make it connect with Riakou's stomach as they were headed straight for each other.
