Oro! Its a sticky now! 4laugh
Uh, you cant practice martial arts on the internet, silly (yet!)! This is just a thread for martial artist like you (?) and myself to learn from eachother and share the youthfullness we admire in Lee-kun! Keep in mind that being gramatically correct would reduce the confusion of explaining techniques, etcs. And also, just talk about anything of martial arts!

Honestly, Tai Kwon Do, and Karate are just basics, that every one takes.
I my self am in 4 classes of martial arts, and have been taking them since I was 6.
Currently, I am enrolled in Tai-Chi class, Taijutsu Class, Sambo Class, and Hapkido.
These were my personal choices on what I want to study, most essentioal key to my studdies is Tai-Chi. Because this art teaches preservation of balance, I can manafest power and techniques with out causing much stress to my body, which can keep me in a fight for allot longer than that of a regular opponent.
For example, Tai-Chi, teaches balance through out everything you do, even combat situations. For example, if you're opponent would be attacking you with full force, you would interscept lightly, afterward kicking in your ofense, you would strike hard after interscepting. Because your opponent will be in a peaceful condition after you interscepted, you will strike with full force, thus preserving balance. Yin and Yang.
Well, thats my way of martial arts. Tai Chi reall helps! I've won 13 Golden Medals because of it!!!

I wish i could Tai-Chi or something like that. I don't have time to learn any other martial arts. And where i live, all we have is the usual karate and tae-kwon-do, except for one akido school (i think).

Thats alright! wink You really dont have to learn martial arts in a school. You can just apply your every day motions and actions to your self and perfect them, then keep at it as you go. That helps too.
As for the Poll, I would have to say Taijutsu is best, because its something that requiers great physicall streangth. Technically, all Taijutsu masters are far stronger than those with Ninjutsu or Genjitsu skills.
Anybody can summon a Donkey, but can they do 2000 something push-ups on a thumb?

I was in martial arts for nearly five years but then I had to quit so I could get a job crying Now I'm a poor college student who's always too tired to do anything(kind of like a girl version of Shikamaru).
Its odd, but watching Lee really made me want to join martial arts again.

I've been doing MA for quite a while. I started off in TKD as alot of people do. Later on, I moved to a few Karate classes (Kyokushin? and Shotokan I believe). I've also done Taijutsu and Kenpo. I like integrating more styles into my base style so I can be more versatile. Now, I'm looking to study a more "internal" style.
Sadly, I've been slacking off big time in the training department....
