"That they do! Perhaps we can do some exploring sometime. My mother tells me of the adventures she use to go on but I wonder sometimes if they were really as wild as she claims!"
The mare tilts her head to one side, her horn catching the sunlight and sending it sparkling around her.
"I bet you have stories to tell as well, don't you?"

"I'm sure she had her adventures. And I'm sure they were plenty wild enough." He chuckled, pawing the ground and nodding. "Exploring sounds like a very interesting and rather good idea. Sometimes, there just isn't enough to do here unless you go looking for it." Rajiv snorted softly, tossing his head lightly again before shrugging. "My stories probly aren't quite as interesting as the one's your mother tells. I only have tales of things happening in the forest, which are adventure enough for me." He explained, casting a brief glance over in the general direction of the forest where he lived.
"What about you? Do you have stories to tell and adventures to regale me with?" He asked with a grin, tilting his head to the side in a teasing mimic of the mare.

"Oh... I have a few... like the time I took on one of the demon kalona! Of course, I later found out he was a friend of my mother's but at the time I had no idea who he was - I was just a foal then," she replied, a little sheepishly. Wambli had chided her about the dangers of being so forthright when meeting someone who could have been so dangerous - but Kala was sure she could have talked her way out of any trouble!
She followed his gaze to the forest. "Is that where you live?"

Rajiv blinked, one ear tilting back slightly. "You took on a kalona?" He asked, eyes slightly wide in surprise. "You're braver than I. I've encountered one before...She was horribly rude and tried to eat my two-legger." He said with a snort, ears laying back briefly as he stomped a hoof. He let his ears perk back up again a moment later, watching her. She was either very brave, or very foolish to try and take on one of those demons. But either way, Rajiv couldn't find it in himself to care. The mare obviously enjoyed how she lived and who was he to judge her by her actions, foolish or not.
With another snort, he glanced back at the forest in the distance before swiveling his head back to look at her, nodding. "Yes. It's quiet and rather peaceful most times." He said almost musingly before shaking his head sharply to rid himself of the daydreaming mindset. "Have you been in that forest before?"

"A little. My father lives in the forest. He's not real comfortable around the two leggers so we go to visit him there. He has an amazing fire-hawk that lives with him!" Kala shook her head at the memory of meeting Fawlkes for the first time. The phoenix had facinated her and she only hoped to one day have a friend near as beautiful as he was!
"Usually we fly where we go. It's like running in the air. My first flights were a little rough though." She blushed a little at that confession.
