Adrastos was abandoned as a cub and accepted by Karver, he then stayed there, meeting a few friendly faces along with Knarnia. He stayed until he knew it was time to move on and start his own pride. His youthfulness and enthusiasm makes him an exceptional leader, however it doesn't impair his judgement and his intuition. The story continues now, its end never to be told, yet to be unravled.

Pride Rules

The Pride, Profiles of Members  Name: Adrastos

Skills: He is excellent at hunting gazelle when he wants to, but usually he lets the lionesses take care of it. He is very strategic and uses it when he needs it, he's very calm in situations that tend to be stressful and overwelming and he's excellent at talking himself out of anything and can persuade anyone to do anything.
History: He himself was abandoned from his own pride as a cub, but first was brutally beaten by his own father like his newly found friend Briseis who were both left to die in the desert, and they traveled until they were seperated by a sand storm. He then wound up in an Oasis region and joined Karver and his pride. As soon as he was old enough he sought permission to leave and start his own pride and he did. However, he did not leave with only himself he was accompianed by his Queen Knarnia.
Personality: He is very considerate and emotional at times. He wants the best for everyone and will strive for it unless it's crossing over the lines and breaking the rules. He can be a bit conceited at times, and possesive which gets him into trouble a lot. However he can charm anyone.

Skills: He is good at keeping calm and he already can stalk and hunt small rodents and any other small creatures. He also likes to do things for others.
History: When he was barely born, he ran away from his birth pride and mother. He left them because the pride had been overrun by rouge lions, most of the pride had been killed except for his mother who had taken a mate with one of the rouges giving birth to Jigsaw. his father was horrible to his mother and his mother was horrible to him because of it. He soon after discovered that his father planned to kill him and he ran away.
Personality: Because of his past, he had been solitary and silent, but once he trusts you he can open up more showing his true personality. He is almost always completely calm and at times his attitude is unpredictable or hard to understand. But to lions he trusts he can prove to be very reliable and brave, and at times?very sweet.

History: He grew up between two prides, always wandering from his mothers side to his fathers. Mankato has never truely understood his place in his fathers land, or with his father. Uneasy about it, his mind is constantly questioning his stayment there. He held a strong bond with his sister Ladishka and his mother deep love for both of em.
Personality: Brave and heartfelt, Mankato is a true romantic at heart. His tones are usually deep and soft spoken. He cares to much he believes, though a bit of a distant loner.  Name: Knarnia

Skills: Despite her happy happy demeanour, Knarnia is a top hunter, as, when time comes, the success of the hunt is the only thing that matters, like a second side surfacing, completemented with the speed and strength needed for the job.
History: Knarnia first lived on King of Queens, the pride of Karver, taken in by Li Na, who she adpoted as an older 'sissy'. With time, she grew into a fine lioness, her head always on her dream world, and met Adrastos. Both became fast friends and, when it was time for him to leave, Knarnia followed the orca male, forever linked with him by a deep, unbreakable friendship. Now, she helps where she can in the pride, watching lovingly over its members with her gentle smile.
Personality: Despite being a full fledged lioness, Knarnia retains many characteristics that would lead many to judge her like a big cub. Which she is during play time, daydreaming whether it's sunshine or rain. The nicest around, she's fairly innocent, believing always the best on the others. It doesn't stop her from being brave when the time comes, and her almost unlimited energy can be channeled from fun and games to serious matters if need be.  Name: Faye

Skills: She's very kind and understanding, good with children. Though that may be because she acts like one at times.
History: Faye grew up in a loving family, and was an only cub. With no sibling to fight with, she is used to not having to brawl. Not only that, but the family was small enough to travel easily, and did so.
When the lioness was old enough, she wanted to venture out on her own, and somehow received the clothes she now proudly wears. Her parents got Das for her, to keep her company on her travels in search of adventure. But the clothes made it hard to hunt, so Faye wanted to find a pride to be in.
Personality: She's sweet and always seems to be smiling and rarely becomes upset. She's kind and generous, sometimes a bit much. But she is also self-concious and modest. So she likes being loved and returning the love. Faye was an only cub, and is used to receiving the only the best... Name: Ladishka
Gender: Female
Relations: Adrastos (Father), Briseis (Mother), Makato (Brother) and Calanor (Sister)

Skills: She's an experienced fighter, after her dramatic experience with Zephyrus. She is even starting to like it as well. She is a warrior beyond compare and is stronger than ever.
Personality: She doesn't mind being alone, and cares for her childeren and siblings. Often she needs the advice of Makato and even her father unknown to her for so long, briefly met for that brief time advice is good for her. She is very, cold and harsh to anyone unknown to her or accepted by her and will take nothing less than exelence.  Name: Kerryn

Relations: Knarnia, Adrastos, Kamaria and Kya, tons of half siblings...

Skills: Just like her mother, Kerryn possesses a strong hunting intinct, coupled with the same speed and a sharp intelligence. Also, even as an adult, her light build allows her to still climb trees, and doing so rather gracefully.
History: Even as a little one, Kerryn's tongue had always been a source of troubles, her sharp sincerity and sarcasm ticking the lions she'd meet outside the pride. Still, somehow she managed to make a precious friend on the way, and not get torn into little pieces by ravenous lionesses... She's still that way, and with a vengeance: now, she has the claws and fangs to back her up...
Personality: Sarcastic and cold, many times acting as if she was way above the others in the high pedestal she put herself in, conscious of her own intelligence and way with making her words stab like true fangs. Aside from her own parents, there are very little lions she respects, and even those aren't many times spared her sharp tongue and hard sincerity, at least the way it shows through her twisted prism... And the way she deals with her sisters is even more... awkward, from time to time annoyed by Kya's happy-go-lucky demeanor or Kamaria's extremely mean streak. The middle ground, even if pending more for the gloomier side of the scale.  Name: Kamaria

Personality: She's a complete badass, in every way anyone could think of. She is a little devil. She thinks that only certain lions are worthy of her prescence and if they aren't she'll make sure they know it, physically or emotionally.

Skills: Though she loves company, she is practically independent due to her early days of being alone. She also considers herself a 'cheerleader' to others in times of despair.
History: Angela has barely any remembrance of her mother and father. She can't extract a single memory of what had occured that left her alone to survive. Coming to the conclusion that either her parents went to 'heaven' or deserted her, she lives with hope that one day she'd find someone that holds a recollection of them.
Personality: She hates being alone and isolated, as it gives her a sense of anxiety. Otherwise, she is playful, curious, and anxious to meet others. Name: Februus

History: Februus like his sister were born of a violent rape of a maddened spirit. Though it made him he will still seek revenge whomever did it to his beloved mother for even he cannot handle the scars that are re-opened when she looks to them
Personality: He's diplomatic, he has a sharp tounge and doesn't trust easy to sum it up. One would have to prove ones worth to even stand by his side. But once he has made friends they will always continue unless that someone betrays his trust because he would do nothing to damage such a thing. Name: Dolorosa

Skills: Dolo's as stealthy as you can get, for, as if it wasn't enough to be extremely silent in all she does, she can also become invisible to everyone's eyes, fading from view. She feels there may be other abbilities though, but the remain closed to her for the time being...
History: Dolorosa's life is forever stained by her conception, fruit of her mother's rape by a maddened Spirit. It made her who she is, and lined her path for revenging Ladishka's honor, whether she wants it or not...
Personality: Dolorosa doesn't smile, doesn't frown, doesn't laugh, doesn't cry, doesn't feel jealous or annoyed. There are no emotions shown, just a blank, spine chilling stare that something very wrong happened. But Dolorosa doesn't know what happened, just that, deep within her, lies an urge to protect her mother and brother, and a thirst to kill, an infinite rage, waiting to be unleashed on the wrong doer... Skills: She has the makings of a great hunter, If she would ever keep quiet long enough to stalk the prey. She is also good at cheering others up even if they are in the worst of moods
History: Mei Xing had always been watched by other lions for her beauty for such a young age. Many of the older lions were she came from had their eyes on her planning to maybe someday ask for her for their sons. her mother was very protective as Mei Xing had almost been kidnapped once before. But soon after that she was kidnapped again, but this time the other lion took her far from her mother,but the lion died shortly after from lack of food leaving Mei Xing stuck all alone just a mewling kitten.
Personality: She is very spunky and loves to talk. The sign on her chest is the chinese symbol for 'beauty' and at times she can't help but boast about it. but overall she is a very caring and happy lion, always managing to either make all around her happy.....or annoyed.

Personality: Gwenn is very grown up for her age. she enjoys helping out with pride chores and taking care of younger cubs. shes always calm and never loses her temper. She is a pride sister. Name: Kya

Personality: She is the most up beat, cheerful, enthusiastic girl one could ever meet. Just like her mother, and she will always be willing to help anyone out in need.

Allies Karver (King of Queens) - Was his own King and took him in when he had been abandoned, he didn't get to know him very well but he respected him. Soon, he had gotten permission for himself to leave as well as Knarnia.
Talcorin (Rose Wings)- Met while traveling to a small oasis. While chatting up a brief conversation and abouth their own prides decided it would be best of interest to become allies theirselves.
Benoni (Le Roi De Sorrow)- He stumbled upon the lands and met both the King and the expecting Queen who never knew. After explaining the situation and a dinner he returned home with another ally.

Predators or Prey On Land
Hare: Fast, and very small. Cubs can catch them if they are good enough.
Aardvark: Nocturnal, eat ants and are often at termite mounds. Very bulky and meaty! XP
Hyenas: A pack could easily pose a danger to a single lioness or lion, can only be taken out by lions, usually only attacked when in a lions territory. Preadators to cubs and some teens.
Leopards: Sneaky and stealthy they as well go out during the night and can prey on small cubs.
Fowl: Fast runners and can peck at cub's which can get irritated after awhile they'll just fly into some Acacia tree's where it's hard for anything to get them.
Elephants: Leave them alone, there just fun to watch. Unless one his very old or sickly you shouldn't plan on taking one down even if you have a whole pride with you.

Ranks King (Filled by Adrastos): The head male of the pride.
Queen (Shairi): The head female of the pride.
Advisior (Jigsaw): The right hand to the king. he is an elder male that the king looks to for advice.
Shaman (Makato): Is a spiritual healer and comfort to the pride as a whole. He/she is someone for t he pride to come to in a time of emotional or mental turmoil.
Hunt Mistress (Knarnia): In charge of the hunt. You are the one the others follow and rely on to make the right decisions and strategy.
Hunt Sisters ( Angela, Kamaria, Kerryn, Ladishka-): Help and follow the hunt mistress. You aid in the hunt and are incharge of gathering food for pride.
Den Mother (Faye): In charge of taking care of the cubs and kittens.
Den Sisters (---): Help the den mother with the cubs and kittens. They are also in charge of keeping the main cave safe and clean.
Scouts (Februus, Dolorosa): Patrol the territory warding off any unwanted guests and potentially dangerous enemies
Pride Brothers (-----): Males that aid the king and help guard the females from any unwanted guests.
Pride Sisters (Gwen---): Help out when needed. They are the most free to do as they please within the pride.
Cubs (Mei Xing, Kya--): The youngest members of the pride, those that need to be looked after and cared for.

The last Day before the change:
All the pride members were in the cave getting ready for the night, Angela and a few other lioness were conversing to Knarnia about the three new additions to the pride. <3
Jigsaw was out with Erosia talking about their three cubs and such after a hyena chase where he found his daughter was their supposed victem.
Makato was accepted into the pride, and was dubbed Shaman.
Shairi had arrived earlier and will soon be announced Queen.

+Little.Black.Cat+ Shairi nuzzled her son, and then padded up to where Adrastos was. "Yes?" She asked as she looked back over her shoulder, finding her sons amongst the pride members. Afu looked restless, as always, and Achilles looked lonsome. She wasn't sure if he just liked his own company, or if there was something bothering him. Oh the woes of a mother...

He smiled cheesily, just for the comidy of it. "I wanted to talk to you...today has been hectic," he replied softly. He motioned for her to lay down beside him...it felt awkward for him to lay down while she stood. As she looked to his sons, to Achilles he looked to her, "You worry about him a lot don't you." he looked to her as the lion was fast asleep already.

She nodded. "It shows, doesn't it?" She worried about both of her sons. Afu wandered off more and more often, and Achilles was alone everytime she saw him, unless Afu was around, which was starting to be increasingly rare. She decided to put it from her mind as she rounded her pink eyes to Adrastos. "But yes, today has been rather hectic..." If only he knew the extent of it...
