EOkay. Here, I will cover every Hitsugaya couple I've ever seen, WHETHER IT BE BOY/GIRL OR BOY/BOY. >_> Kay? Kay.

Girls:

Matsumoto: This one is rather popular. In my opinion, it's unlikely. Matsumoto seems more of a mother/sister to him rather than a love. They seem more... best friendish. But it's probably the second most likely couple.

Orihime: Hum... more unlikely than Matsumoto. The reasons for this are probably because Orihime and Matsumoto are good friends, providing a link between her and Hitsugaya. Also, these two have shown interaction in recent manga chapters, though not that much.

It should be noted that Orihime does call him Toushirou-kun, which is actually less formal than how she refers to Ichigo or Uryuu.

Yachiru: I haven't seen this that much, but it does exist... maybe off the basis that of the Gotei 13 captains and vice captains, they're the youngest? This is very unlikely.

Hinamori: I know, all of you are growning by now, waiting for this one. The most likely Hitsugaya couple, HitsuHina!

While Hinamori doesn't seem to like Hitsugaya as more than a friend, Hitsugaya has shown on more than one occasion that he deeply cares for Hinamori. He refuses to fight her when she attacks him, and even threatens to kill Ichimaru if he makes her bleed.

Also, no matter what the case, Hitsugaya never blames Hinamori. He always blames Aizen, Ichimaru, or himself.

While it's shown that Hinamori doesn't love love Hitsugaya, there's a strong possibility that it could turn into real love. Let's hope so. :3

Boy/boy couples:

Ichigo: :/ Blehhh.... near impossible one. Seriously. They barely seem to be friends, let alone lovers.

Again, it should be noted that Ichigo refers to Hitsugaya as Toushirou, but as he refers to three captains that way, it doesn't appear to mean anything.

Renji: Even less likely. I think they might make good friends, in a grudging sort of way, but... that's all.

Ichimaru: okay. Now it's time for me to let it out.

What. The. ********. Hell.

It's been made clear that Hitsugaya HATES Ichimaru, even before anything happened! It's also been made clear that Ichimaru probably doesn't like Hitsugaya either! So where does this couple come from!?

Also, I HAVE seen a HitsugayaIchimaru fanfic. An excerpt of the fanfic was in the description. I wanted to burn my eyes out. God.

the only person I could concievably see him with is Hinamori. Matsumoto seems exactly as you said, a mother/sister figure. ^^
