I think it was about last year, in September. My sister asked for the cd for her birthday, and I was all "What the ******** is Evanescence?!" When she got it I was still meh. It wasn't until we went on a car trip somehwere and I was fishing through her CD wallet that I listened to it. Can you say 'new favorite band'? Evananscence is my life now. No music for can can live up to the standards, though All-American Rejects and Flogging Molly are a close second heart
When did you lose your Evanescence Virginity?

Um, sometime last year or the year before I think? I was looking for something to listen to on the radio and came by the song Bring Me To Life. I fell in love with it, but it wasn't until I got home (I was in LA) that I found out who the song was done by. ^_^

Around Summer of 2003. I heard it on Live 105 (if you live in SF, California, it's Radio Station 105.3 FM), and they had a contest on what sounds like new music. They chose between one song (don't remember what it sounds like), another song (sounded like a country guitar), and an Evanescence song (Going Under). I thought, hey! That sounds cool. So, they played the Going Under song, and I liked it. Then, just as I was going to by the Fallen album, I looked at the Music Video of "Bring Me To Life" in a Music Store, I thought, that's a nice song. And, that's when I was on vacation in Sacramento visiting my relatives on my dad's side. I listened to the whole album, during a car ride to a flea market in Roseville (I'll post where that is in my topic later on domokun ). Just as I was obsessed with the Fallen album, listening to Imaginary, I decided to listen to the radio, and I heard a song, not from the Fallen album. It was My Immortal as a rock version. I thought, wow, that's nice! I have to see what album that falls under. So, that's when I bought the Origin album for $30. blaugh
Whew, lotta typing. sweatdrop eek
