Chris hugs Suki and Minna before getting in the car with Kendra, Shaylee, Raine, and Chujow. Chris yawns and soon falls asleep in the car. She remembers playing board games with Suki, Lucky, and Cha; also of Minna and Zouchey talking to her in the hot tub; and Goukai and Greg fighting over a box of cereal. She wakes up smiling and realizes that the car is heading into Camdene.
Chris: How long was I asleep?
Kendra: Whole way.
Chujow: You sure wee doing a lot of giggling in your sleep.
Chris: Staying with the Wild Wingz was the best time I ever had; they are a family.
Kendra: Yeah, Minna may not be related to Zouchey or Alex or Cha or Ork but they all stick together.
Raine: And know how to have a good time.
Shaylee: Ugh, I can’t wait till we’re home. I’m so taking a bath after being crammed in this car.
Raine: Ah, home… Chris, are you looking forward to seeing your daughter?
Chris: Yes… I am ready.
When Chris arrives at Biff’s apartment; Biff hugs Chris.
Biff: Chris, you look great.
Chris: I’m so glad to see you, I missed you.
Biff: And I missed you… but this little one missed you the most…
Scarlet walks out of the kitchen with a baguette of roses, she hands them to Chris.
Scarlet: For you.
Chris: Oh…
Chris falls o her knees and hugs Scarlet.
Chris: You know who I am?
Scarlet: Mhmm, my momma.
Biff: I told her a lot about you.
Chris: Thank-you…
Scarlet: Momma like pancakes?
Chris: Why do you ask?
Scarlet: I love them and I love you too. And Biff!
Biff: Heh-heh, we got a lot to catch up about.
Scarlet sits in Chris lap as Biff sits next to Chris. Chris laughs as Biff talks to her. Scarlet laughs and talks too. Scarlet hugs Chris and smiles.
Scarlet: I happy you here.
Chris: I’m glad to be here too.
Biff snaps a picture of Scarlet in Chris’ lap. Chris looks at Scarlet’s hat, Scarlet grins.
Scarlet: Biff bought this.
Chris: I see… do you mind if I take it off for a minute?
Scarlet: Okay…
Chris slides off Scarlet’s hat and Scarlet’s white rabbit ears pop up.
Chris: I have to tell him Biff…
Biff: I know…
Scarlet: Hm?
Chris: Has she even asked?
Biff: No… but there is one thing I want to know Chris…
Chris: Yeah?
Later; at Flaming Snowball Max hugs Chris.
Max: I missed you so much Chris!
Chris: I did too Max, gosh and this bar.
Alice: And I missed your help.
Chris: Rainy season gets the busiest.
Ivan comes down the stairs and smiles to see Chris.
Ivan: Hey Chris…
Chris: Ivan!
Chris runs up and hugs Ivan; Ivan’s ears perked up.
Chris: I missed you, jack a**!
Ivan: Heh-heh, welcome back.
Scarlet tugs on Biff’s coat, Biff picks her up.
Scarlet: Momma is really happy.
Biff: Yeah, I’m sure she is.
Chris: Hehe, if you’ll excuse us.
Chris drags Ivan up to his office; Scarlet kicks her legs and Biff sets her down on the barstool.
Scarlet: Juice.
Alice: Apple or orange?
Scarlet: Apple.
Alice: Coming right up.
Alice takes out a glass and grabs a bottle of apple juice. Max giggles and sits down a barstool.
Max: You think they’ll finally admit their feelings?
Scarlet: What you mean?
Alice: Some people are shy or troubled to say that they really care.
Max: Or admit they love each other.
Scarlet: Oh… not me! I love Biff!
Biff: I love you too short stack.
Scarlet: Yummy, that reminds me of pancakes.
Chris embraces Ivan in his office with tears running down her face. Ivan pats Chris’ head and sits down with her on the couch. Chris wipes her eyes.
Chris: There’s so much… just so much I need to tell you Ivan…
Ivan: Well, I am all ears.
Chris giggles and Ivan smiles; Chris rubs Ivan’s rabbit ear, Ivan faintly blushes.
Chris: I really did miss you Ivan…
Ivan: I missed you even more, I never got to say good bye…
Chris: But I’m back… and now I know what I’ve wanted to say all along.
There’s a pause between the two, Chris looks up at Ivan’s eyes. Ivan leans in towards Chris, caressing her cheek with his hand.
Ivan: You don’t have to say it; I already know…
Ivan lips brush Chris’; he speaks in a soft voice.
Ivan: I’ll love you always.
Chris: Ivan…
Ivan gently kisses Chris; Chris blushes and puts her hands to Ivan’s cheek.
Chris: I have to tell you this… it can’t wait any longer…
Ivan: Do you love me?
Chris: Yes, always had always will.
Ivan: Then don’t let it burden your heart any longer.
Chris: Ivan… Scarlet is your daughter.
There was a silence between the two; the tick of a clock is heard on the wall. Ivan has his head down and starts to chuckle.
Chris: Ivan?
Ivan: It’s funny… finally I wished for something and it came true…
Chris: Hm?
Ivan lifts up his head with tears in his eyes; he suddenly hugs Chris falling back on her with a huge grin on his face.
Ivan: Will you marry me?
Chris blinks and hits Ivan in the head, both sitting up.
Chris: What kind of proposal is that! It’s like when we –
Chris suddenly stops talking and hugs Ivan.
Chris: Yes, I’ll marry you!
Ivan: Heh-heh, you don’t know how much I wished she was my daughter.
Chris: And you’re not mad?
Ivan: Never.
Chris: And please don’t be angry with Biff, he was only doing what I asked him to do for me…
Ivan: I know, he took care of you and now he’s taking care of Scarlet… he’s shown devotion that not many people have these days… I can say I’m glad to know him and to have raised our daughter.
Scarlet pulls on Biff’s ears while she stands on a barstool.
Scarlet: When will I get these?
Biff: You won’t, you’re not a fox.
Scarlet: But I want to be! I want to be just like you.
Biff: Well, you are going to be my little scholar, chef, and florist, right?
Scarlet: Mhmm, we’ll be together for a long time!
Ivan and Chris come down the stairs, both of them grinning.
Ivan: Well, we have an announcement to make…
Chris: Biff, if you’ll do the honors…
Biff: All right… Scarlet, you ready to take off your hat?
Scarlet: Mhmm!
Scarlet takes off her hat revealing her white rabbit ears.
Biff: Miss Scarlet Marlous Ruby, the daughter of you guessed it.
Alice: Ivan… IS A DADDY!
Max: AND I’M AN UNCLE! Hehe, kind of already knew though.
Everyone but Max & Scarlet: WHAT!
Max: Wolf, good scent, hehe.
Ivan slaps his face, Max’s tail wags.
Max: I knew this was all going to work out.
Ivan: You are such a brat Max…but that’s okay, Chris is one too.
Chris: Hey!
Ivan: But she’s also cute and very strong willed, that’s why I asked her to marry me.
Chris: And I said yes.
Alice and Biff blink; Max spins around.
Max: Good news after another!
Alice: Is this a dream?
Biff: No, this is really happening…
Scarlet: What is?
Max: What we’ve all been waiting for, for oh so many years!
Scarlet: Oh… well, I want to go to the park.
Alice: And can I go home for the day? My head is about to pop…
Ivan: Sure, bar’s closed today. Now to the park.
