It was the day after they'd sent her to find out what was going on, and apparently she had just.. gone home. How wonderful. And so, here Ryou was again, making house calls of all things. First Purrin then Ichigo... Hopefully he'd catch her before school.

Irritated with the situation he hopped off his motercycle and stormed right up to the door, dropping his helmet int he grass of their lawn. THUMP THUMP THUMP. he slammed his fist into the door, falling back into a stern frown, crossing his arms, and waiting... She better hurry, damnit. He had better things to do than this...

That look fell off his face when a concerned woman, and man, opened the door. Oh right... She DID have parents. Think fast, be suave! He dropped his arms, offering that plastic smile he gave to the customers. "Momomiya-san..." he greeted the couple, giving a small tilt of his head. Oh god he was going to kill Ichigo "I..." Crap, he couldn't tell them she was a mew. Mentally, cusswords started flying every which direction. "I'm here to drive Ichigo to school."

Not the best choice of words to say when he spoke to Ichigo's father. The Mew herself would probably have perfered Ryou telling her parents she was a Mew. It had been torture enough to get them to let her date Masaya -and he was perfect. Ichigo was still asleep, having slept through her alarm clock again. Her sleep was contented by dreams of fish and yarn, though that was relatively normal. "Nyaa..." The girl rolled over in her bed, pawing at the air for a moment before flipping over so she faced the other side.

Her father, on the other hand, was already steaming slightly. His wife stepped in front of him, in order to keep him from trying to strangle the nice blonde boy. "Please, come in. Dear, go upstairs and get Ichigo, would you?" It wasn't really a question, more of a don't-you-dare-try-anything comment. Her overly-bright face kindly allowed no disapprovement through. "They'll only be a moment."

Ichigo's father was up the stairs in a moment, trombling loudly down the hall. His usual soft tap on her door was a loud bang. It seemed to shake the whole house, when it merely shook Ichigo out of bed. She bumped her nose -which didn't happen very often anymore- and was very awake by the time she got up again. "Hai?" She opened the door, still in her pajamas and rubbing her nose tenderly. "You're late, and there's a boy here to bring you to school." His voice was filled with contempt when he said the word 'boy,' as though it were dirty. But she was still dating that Masaya boy, wasn't she? Then who was that boy at the door? Ichigo perked up. "Is it Masaya?" Of course, she thought it was him. Who else would come to pick her up in the morning? Not knowing who his daughter's company was enraged the man, but he tried to hide it as much as he could. "No. This boy is blonde." And had a motorcycle. Not a good sign.

"Blonde?" She thought for a moment. "Arigatou! I'll be down soon, promise!" Ichigo's father shut the door quietly, and she began getting dressed as quickly as possible. By the time she was done, she had ribbons tied neatly in her hair and her school uniform on again. The girl quickly scrambled down the stairs, hoping that she wasn't too late already.

Ryou raised a brow at her father's reaction, almost in a 'i dare you to even try' sort of way. He hadn't delt with a parent since he was like 10. After that it was keiichiro... And, well, we all know how forceful Keiichiro was. Why else would the teenager have a motercycle, and not attend any sort of silly school? But he'd stay polite, no need to get her forbidden to come to work or somethign silly like that. He'd be a perfect gentleman, until he got the girl out on the highway...

"Of course." He responded politely, stepping inside, the inner-Ryou twitching as the man made his way up the stairs to fetch Ichigo. He didn't need to meet her parents, damnit... Oh well. Start with the cool, sophisticated guy routine. Basically... Be Keiichiro. "I'm Ryou Shirogane..." he introduced, "You must be... Ichigo's older sister?" he felt like gagging at the routine but hey, whatever worked...

Ichigo's father returned from his short chat with his daughter, still steaming angrily at the boy. A different expression was on his face, more telling him not to touch his little girl. Or he might get runover with a moped sometime soon, when he was least expecting it. The moped part was hard to communicate, but he sent the message all the same. There were ways he could find out what happened after Ichigo returned home -though there were some things that she had gone out of her way to keep him from knowing.

Ichigo, decked out in her full school uniform, made her way toward the bottom of the stairs. She was almost unable to contain herself, as soon she would be at school with Aoyama-kun. His comfort would be much appreciated, especially after the day before. Maybe when she saw him, she would just go up and quickly give him a hug. That is, if she could make her way through the crowd of girls that was always following him around. "No, no, of course not!" Ichigo's mother giggled, sounding more like a schoolgirl than Ichigo usually did. "Nani?!" Came the sound of Ichigo's voice when she saw the nice-looking tuft of blonde hair.

The cocky young adult felt no intimidation from Ichigo's father, oh if only he could get the mental image of getting by a moped he might get thrown off. But he didn't, and he wouldn't, so he wasn't. "Really?" he continued, giving a wary glance to the husband. Why oh why did he get the feeling he might be the jealous type? Just a hunch... "It's nice to meet you too, sir." he added, "I'm Ichigo's boss." Maybe that would clear up the glares he was getting...

He paused, glancing at Ichigo as she appeared down the stairs. "Ichigo." He addressed, not even addinga polite san or kun or.. anything. "Let's go." he ordered, forgetting momentarily that they weren't at the cafe. He turned back to her parents, smiling and giving a bow. "Thankyou." And back out the door, and God help the girl if she didn't follow him out.

Ichigo's father still didn't trust the boy. Not one bit. There was a glint in his eye that wasn't right, even if he acted strange. But that might just have been his paranoia showing itself again. In this case, it was right, but he couldn't confirm that without solid evidence. And neither of the two women in the household would allow him to obtain what he needed. But if the boy ever came near his daughter, then he would be watching closely. He made sure to get a confirming nod from Ichigo. At least he trusted his daughter. "Nice to meet you, as well." He spoke through gritted teeth. Even though he was merely her boss, Shirogane still hadn't gained Ichigo's father's trust. Then again, most boys didn't.

For a split second, Ichigo's face reflexted that she knew why he was there. She basically knew, anyway. Her normal, content expression returned, not wanting to frighten her parents. It would be almost impossible to explain to them without giving the entire project away. "Goodbye! I'll be back this afternoon, promise!" Although she hadn't had breakfast yet, she could probably eat something nice at lunch. The Mew quickly followed Shirogane. "Have a nice time at school, Ichigo!" Her mother waved happily to her daughter's back as she went out the door. The young girl gave a wave back, equally happy. As the door closed, there was a soft click as it hit the doorway. Her smile faded slightly. "Shirogane-san..." She didn't know how to continue.

Inside, her parents said a few more words before they began getting ready for their morning routine. "Maybe I should follow them." He thought aloud. "You're staying right here until work, honey." Ichigo's father gave a short grimace to his wife before sulking off towards the kitchen.

Once outside, he waited by the bike, starting to dig out a spare helmet he had 'just in case', and his just in case was right, again. The door clicked... He wasn't sure if he trusted her father not to poke his head out and start listning in on them but when Ichigo started to speak that set the teen off on her.

Spinning around, he chucked the spare helmet at her with a light frown. "You didn't report back last night! And if it wasn't for Masha we'd all be looking for your body dead in a gutter right now." The tiniest flash of worry flickered through the angered expression as he abruptly stopped, waaay too personal... He didn't care, nono.. Not at all. Cover, quick! His mind urged "I mean how are we supposed to continue the project if you get killed?" Yes, mention the project.. She hated that.

Shaking his head, he turned his back on her, placing hte helmet on his head. "You'll give me a full report on the way to your school, understood? We need to know every detail."

Ichigo luckily was able to catch the helmet he had chucked straight at her. At least her sharpened instincts were something good about the addition of the Iriomote Cat DNA that was now inside of her. But she would have prefered to not have the ears and the tail pop out even now and again when she got too excited. That was painful enough on its own. The cat appendages had definitely caused more problems than the reflexes had solved. She quickly strapped the helmet on, grateful that he'd brought an extra one.

Once the helmet was safely attached to her head, she listened to what he had to say before speaking out. I can take care of myself well enough, thank you!" She blushed, remembering the events of the previous day. Getting lost, finding Kisshu by sheer luck... Not the most efficient way of doing everything. "And it's nice to see that you actually care if I wind up dead or not!" She yelled angrily, forgetting that her parents were still nearby, just inside the house. If she was lucky, they couldn't hear her. "Hai, I'll tell you... But you don't have to be so mean about it." She had calmed down slightly, but was still angry at him. She couldn't really do much aobut that, though.

He was half tempted to say he didn't care, but she spoke again and was agreeing to tell him without any fuss. Plus, he just wanted to get home.. And if he got her too mad at him she would be a pain to get on the motercycle.

Throwing a leg over the side, he zipped his jacked, and started the engine. He gave her a light huff, "Hop on, grab hold of my waist so you don't fall." he instructed, casually assuming this was her first motercycle ride. Not many people had. once she had successfully climbed on, he checked to make sure she was on right and then started down the straight, heading for the girl's school... Hm. Was it bad he knew where she went to school without any sort of map or directions?

As they moved down the street, he hollared back "Alright, get started."

Ichigo was finally able to get herself on the motorcycle so that she didn't fall. It wasn't the most comfortable position to be sitting in, but at least she didn't have to walk. It would be much faster this way, and she didn't have much of a choice. Even if she wasn't late, Ryou probably would have tied her to the bike instead of allowing her to sit on it. Her arms held on tight, merely to keep herself from falling off while they were moving. It was unlikely that she'd be able to completely keep herself from getting hurt. After all, her reflexes weren't that perfect.

It didn't seem as though he needed any help getting to her school -which was strange, but she didn't think about that. It was much more important to get the information that he needed to him. Had she given it to him the day before, then it probably would have been a jumbled mass of 'IhateKisshusomuchsometimeswhyisheevenback?!' She had had more time to think about it, but there was still nowhere that seemed like a good place to start. "It took a while to search the area, so I spent a long time just walking around." He didn't need to know that she had been extremely close to being completely lost. He didn't need another thing that he could use against her later. "The alien was there. But it was... Kisshu. He was badly injured. He didn't even know about the invasion, let alone is he a part of it. I... I tried to get him to come to get some help, but he refused to come with me. I left after that." She left out the part about the stolen kiss, as well.

Ryou listened, catching signs, turnign here stopping at a light there... It wasn't the easiest to hear over the motercycle, but that meant no one else was listning. "Kisshu?" he echoed her, frowning a bit as thoughts tried to calculate together. Not part of the invasion... Oh yes, that was likely. Sounded more like a plan to keep everyone off his trail... However, being injured was strange. He'd look more into that... For now there was one important factor he was missing.

He slowed as they neared the school, catching almost all the students attention with the loud noises. "What's kisshu's relationship with you?" He asked as bluntly as could be. He knew.. Bits. But Ichigo never shared anything more than what Ryou had seen for himself with the Alien's farewell speech. And what happend that fateful day was left with those three alone...

Ichigo continued to hold onto Shirogane in order to keep herself sitting up. The motorcycle was much louder than a car would be, or most other types of transportation that she knew of. "It was him, I'm sure of it." She nodded, although he probably couldn't see that from his position. There was no possibility that it was someone else -if it was another alien, then he knew Kisshu as well as she did.

She was slightly embarassed by the loud machine that made people stare, but there had been more embarassing things that had happened. Her only problem was trying not to get too worried about the other students. The friends that she kept close would most likely ask who Ryou was -but only if they had never gone to the Cafe before. "Kisshu can be nice sometimes, but he always does what I don't want him to when I start trusting him." She huffed slightly and angrily. It was amazing to her that she was able to describe that about him. "But... Shirogane-san, he really seems to understand that we can live together peacefully. He could be a good friend if I didn't get angry at him everytime we met."

The motercycle died down, parked momentarily ont he side of the street. The helmet was taken off, out of habit, as he slipped off and offered Ichigo a hand to help her off with him. He wasn't really thinking much on her when he did it, moreso the threat of the aliens... And so for a moment, he forgot to be rude. Once she was off he held out a hand to take her helmet.

Kisshu was a friend, ey? Likely. "Maybe." he started, to be injured definatly added to the story, however it would be very easy to just lie abot knowing. Play them all for saps... "Don't trust them so quickly." He added, "Don't forget how many lives he took last time." His gave a chilling stare, putting the spare helmet away and his back on. Back on he bike he went, ready to leave. The engine started again, he gave a wave "Oh and you have work today, don't be late." And without giving her much time to respond at all he was off.

Ichigo found it harder to get off the bike than it was to get on. At least she had someone to help her this time. Once she was safely on the ground, the helmet came off her head. Of course, her hair looked a little strange, but it wasn't completely ruined. Her ribbons were still tied exactly where they were supposed to be, and her head as a whole looked decent. "I'll never forget." She looked down, hugging the helmet for a moment. Her memories of her past experiences as a Mew had stayed with her, and there were always times when she would think about them as much as she could, wondering whether Kisshu really had changed or not. Who knew if she could really trust him...

"Nani?!" It was so sudden, though! Her vacation was over, she knew that -but was it really necessary for her to return to work so soon? There was a part of her that dreaded going back to the chaos that was Cafe Mew Mew. She knew that it would happen sooner or later, but not this soon. "You jerk!" She called to him as he drove off, again angry at his rudeness. Why couldn't he be civil for more than five seconds? He could at least try. With a sigh, she was off to another day of school and work.
