I'm really sorry if I sound like I am complaing/scolding you guys but there are some things that have been bothering that need to be fixed. This doesn't apply to everyone- only certain people who I will not name because they should know who they are. Most of these things are basic internet ettiquete, but apparently they need to be said.
1. For the love of god, Clip your posts. No one wants to have to scroll through a page of quotes in quotes in quotes. If it doesn't pertain to what you are replying to, delete it.
2. Don't make posts that consist of only one word/smiley. Unless its really important, there is no point making an entire post to say "yes" or "no" or "yay" unless it is followed by something else. This guild is supposed to be for intelligent discussion. Most people seem to understand this but I want to make sure that everyone does.
3. Going off topic is fine, just try to keep it to a minimum. If you find yourself having a really random conversation in a thread about your favorite character then maybe you should think about relocating the conversation to the chatterbox thread. I'll admit, sometimes random conversations can be interesting, but there is a not-so-fine line between off topic and spam. Please, try not to cross it all of the time.
The point I am trying to make is, please, try to act mature. I don't care if you use improper grammar or can't spell, but at least make an effort to say something thought provoking once in a while.
The majority of people here are awesome posters who always have something new to say and really make this guild so interesting. Thank you guys for being so awesome. This guild couldn't exist without you.
This post is for the small minority who have been unintentionally really irritating. I'm sorry for being such a post nazi, but I don't want to have to start banning people.

I really hope people didn't ignore this announcement because I don't see too much change around here. (except for the quotes. thanks for stopping that)

I want to volunteer for crew! I know how to post on topic even if I don't come all that often. I have the urge to delete old locked posts and make "OFFICIAL" discussion threads on various topics to have the escuse to get people all in the same threads when talking about, say, specific characters.
(Like an "OFFICIAL CHARACTER DISCUSSION" thread, be it some peopel fangirling over Roy, or Envy, or someone threatening to kill Tucker.)

yea. I agree. When people start quoting people and then people start quoting them it becomes a mess.... and a really big one at that.

yeah maybe we should try to get ppl to quote only when the quote they are quoting is not the post above them. (ack, my directions are making me dizzy) xp

Hmmm, I'll have to remember the always on subject rule, but since it has a minimal exception, I think I should be in the clear for the most. I'll try to stop all major things when I see them as well. Thanks!

Can we also add to this:
*Please look over the first page AT LEAST to see if there's a pre-existing thread that covers your topic before creating a new one.*
We're not a big guild and we don't move all that fast, so scanning through even the first couple of pages to make sure a similar thread doesn't already exist would be appreciated. This has been happening rather frequently recently.
