After coming across some OOC fics in which Ed gladly dumped Winry for Rose who also had Roy and Envy fighting over her... I felt...
Well, I felt the need to puke, but I digress.
I'm all up for making a comic bashing the pairing EdRose, but I'm fresh out of ideas... Anyone have any I can stea-er, borrow? Please? I'll love you forever <3.

Draw it as it is in the fanfiction ... and as he is asking her out, some members of the Ed/Winry guild here on Gaia come and kidnap Rose, bound and gag her, and replace her with Winry? :3
It's the only idea I had. -shrug-

We need a stand off.
Okay, so... As much as we all hate it, or at least I hated it, Ed and Rose we're sorta kinda flirty in the anime. Like it or not BONES did hint something with them. I would play on that.
Example of my idea of a fiction:
Edward and Alphonse we're sent out to a eastern city on Roy's command to help protect a supply line that travels through a few of the East Towns to the Eastern base that is continuously getting attacked by haters of the Military. (This way it has some action.)
Things start up all most as soon as he meets with the commanders and guys there and, like he was told to, he helps fight off the guys. After a small exchange of alchemy and fire power the guys get away and Ed's automail gets trashed. With the refuges still out there and being under order he can't leave, thus he makes his way over to an office and calls up Winry to come and fix it for him. There's some nagging, a bit of yelling, some name calling with Al trying to wave the people staring at Ed yelling into a phone away. Of course she eventually agrees and that ends there, maybe have Al motion that "they haven't seen Winry in a while" and Ed just brush it off.
Enter Rose. Ed and Al leave the office to search for a place to stay. They search for a while and just happen to bump into Rose, who is there for some reason or another... Maybe she and some others from Lior were sent there to help with a problem in the city since it's one of their neighboring towns in the East. Anyway it's all "Hi!" "Hi!" "I haven't seen you in so long, have you been well?" "Haha, well actually..." and they chat and have a marry time. Ed and Rose chat, this being the first time they talk without drama or something going on you could have a little light flirting on both ends and from there.
A few days later enter Winry. Now this is what I meant by a "Stand off." Winry meet with Ed and Al and gets ready to fix Ed's automail, everything seems normal until she meets Rose. To her things are... Normal. That is until Ed and Rose are still flirting lightly in-between each other, something Winry wouldn't expect or be use to seeing from Ed and it bothers her for some reason.
If you don't write this I will. But I suck at fanfiction writing so maybe I would just find someone willing to write it and give them my details. Either way I like this idea personally. Winry's bothered by seeing Ed and another woman are kind of flirting and that leads up to her realizing she has feelings for him. As this goes on she's in denial and decides it's because she hasn't seen Ed or Al in a while and just missed them more then she thought, so she decides to stay there for a few days to catch up. Find ways to have Ed and Winry have some alone time and have Ed realizes there's a difference between her an Rose. He can't figure out what but there's a difference. Not just in appearance and personality's but something else. He gets time with both Rose and Winry and build on it from there, have feelings whirl and a big fluffy/drama ending.
Let's not bash Rose, let's prove why it doesn't work with her and Ed. Show there is an attraction there but it's skin deep, he's "attracted" to her but not in the same way he is to Winry. He cares and loves Winry and has for a while and he and Winry realize that through the fiction.
I just pwned you all with my detail. xd

Mm, I never saw anything between them, IMHO they could never make each other happy... but to each their own?
I'm doing this for a short quick anti-EdRose comic, just to clear up confusion >_>;... I'd never have the parience to do more than two pages max.

I'm doing this for a short quick anti-EdRose comic, just to clear up confusion >_>;... I'd never have the parience to do more than two pages max. To be honest I never saw as much of a "Romance" their either, but after watching the anime about 15,000 times I have to admit they sorta did hint something slightly. Not really "flirting" just, well, Rose seems like the only girl Ed hints, with lack of better wording, any kind of attraction to. The Anime hardly hints anything between him and Winry like Arakawa does in the Manga so that's why I say that. But personally if I had to admit anything I would just say he felt sorry for her because Ed is sweet and caring like that. And this is why Winry makes sure to keep plenty of wrenches on hand with her. (Seriously, with that fandom how many woman WOULDN'T try to make Ed feel bad for them just to get some flirt time? Winry must work over time bashing fangirls away.) Ah, okay. Sorry then. for that annoyingly long idea. I didn't realize it was a quick "STFU RosexEd fans" bashing comic. xd I wish you luck with that.

Yukina_Raven ADJSKGSDGJSDF!!! I'M WRITING THAT FANFIC. YOU ARE THE BEST PERSON EVER. I've been looking for a good new EdxWinry fic idea for ages since my old fic, MY December, is kinda... dead. So I'm totally doing this idea, if that's okay with you. I'll credit you for it, of course. But I love it so much! heart
It reminds me, vaguelly, of an RP a friend of mine and I did where Russell was there too. He was flitering with Winry and Rose was there to flirt with Ed. XD Holy gwakamoly(SP?)!? Aww... Sorry, it isn't a Gaia RP. Its a one on one RP I do with her. But yes, that's what made it so funny... Russell is just everything not Ed and Ed loaths him for it.
