Any fans off this band?
Probably the best prog band, ive heard. Every album has a different sound and feel.
I reccomend EVERYONE, gets the Infinity album, and hear the best prog album currently in existance.

I love how he focuses purely on happy things on that album. Makes a nice change from most metal. ninja Terria is awesome aswell, its tells loosely the story of Adam & Eve. Infinity is the journey off the human soul through life.

Devin is the most brilliant man I have ever heard! All of his singels (AKA DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND) are amazing, including his newest. and His other band, Strapping Young Lad is amazing as well. I love how all of his Albums tell a story. And His voice is beyond amazing. He can go from harmonius singing to full out screaming and still sound great.

Terria has to be one the best albums I've ever heard, period.
Devin Townsend is one of my favorite prog metal artists, Infinity, Ocean Machine, Terria, and Synchestra are pretty good works all around. But if you need convincing, Go with Terria, or just listen to "Earth Day"

I got Accelerated Evolution and Synchestra.
Also some songs off Terria.
I must say I like them alot, I got Accelerated Evolution about two years ago, then everyone on gaia was on them too.

is it any good, or do i just have the wrong album? Its great. Infinity is by far his best work, well Infinity and Devlab. Although Devlab is a noise album.

Have Infinity and Synchestra but so far I've really only listened to Synchestra
Overall pretty impressive! Not one of my favorites yet but if I listen to it more it has the possibility of seriously growing on me

Nah.. I don't like Devin Townsend. I listened their newest album on 3voor12 and it sounded like a musical mess to me...

Devin is a genius. All around. His work with Steve Vai was great, Strapping Young Lad, Ocean Machine, and Devin Townsend Band. Love the Terria album. Anotehr close favorite of mine by him is Accelerated Evolution.
