2) I really shouldn't have to say this (not here at least sweatdrop ), but please observe guild rules and Gaia's TOS.
3) Only the staff and I can post here (unless you have my permission and you all know who you are).
4) You don't really need my expressed permission to breed with my unis (I don't mind one bit who breeds with my unis domokun Go ahead.). I only ask that you tell me you will so that I can figure out if I want a twin or not...

Long story short, it started with Evane(scence) fleeing to the agency, where she was adopted by Alaina. Alaina later went on a search-and-resuce mission on her own, finding Tolan as the sole survivor of his herd, and with Evane's help, added him to the group - starting the herd. Alaina and Evane got to talking about why Evane was adpoted, so Evane went to go find find Nenya; thus, Roshaun was born. Kachina was adopted some time later, shortly followed by Jamuna and Damara, who came from the same wild herd. Alaina had effectively given leadership of the herd to Evane by this point, but even Evane couldn't stop Tolan and Roshaun from experimenting and thus creating Yepa, the first Tundra to live at the agency. Soyala came seeking a herd leader to follow, and found one in Evane. Stian, Pyralis, and Stanley got chased out of their old herd, and found Evane and crew when they came to the agency looking for a place to stay.

Strom and Rhain had lost their old herd to darklings, and managed to find both a safe place to stay and a herd to live with when Tolan found them. Damek and Moana somehow escaped the darklings that had gotten a large part of their herd, and wound up settling into the herd's way of life once Evane had talked to them. Ramses was a warrior in his old herd, and somehow got talked into protecting the ever-growing herd. Roshaun went searching for a partner to parent with, and found Rapheal, a mud uni from another herd; together they created twin Permafrosts Sahirah and Glacia to strengthen both herds; Sahirah decided to stay with Roshuan. Several of the herd members had to scurry to stop Bridgette from leaving the agency and its protection when the magma uni plunged through to escape some darklings. Aatmik simply showed up one day, telling them he'd stay with them if they answered a riddle correctly and become leader if they answered wrong, thinking they'd get it wrong; he had to be forced to join the herd as a member, despite his objections to being the only hornless uni. Present was introduced to the herd as a present for someone's birthday; the herd had no clue who's birthday (although Evane was guessing Alaina's), but were happy all the same. Hedwig joined somewhere around winter holidays, having fled some unknown source, most likely darklings.

Karli was a rare find, having being freed from a box of all things; no one has yet to summon up the courage to ask her how she got in the box to start with, although she'd tell them she came from another agency if they did.1 Several of the herd's unis joined in a Valentine Maypole celebration that somehow produced ingots, and the ingots were placed in Naeva's care while the guardians decided what to do with the ingots. The herd insisted that it get one of the ingots, thus when Saniya emerged from her ingot (found to be parented by Dancer and Zhi), she ended up living with the herd. Aatmik protested at the top of his lungs that he wanted one of the ingots he helped create (hoping to get another hornless into the herd); thus the herd received Barak, who had antlers - much to Aatmik's dismay. Alaina showed up briefly, long enough to adopt Melantha, a shadow uni (found to be parented by Momus and Matsunaga), and Celeste (found to be parented by Donner and Kirin), before vanishing off to wherever she goes after all the ingots were dealt with. Elsha was found wandering around looking for the rest of her horse-like herd and ran into Ramses, who told her she'd be safer if she stayed with him and his herd. At some point, Aatmik ran into Donner, a uni from another herd, and decided to share his essence with the courage to create the hornless water twins Maylin and Cancer. Trynt was found in the stream that runs through the agency while the herd was helping Emmy of Cantor's herd find the rest of her herdmates; Iona followed Aatmik during his search, and managed to convince him to let her come with him. Cienega had been traveling around the agency with Sheitan and Bozez, and managed to squirm her way into the large herd's life, allowing both Sheitan and Bozez to join as well.

Karli found Istas, yet has refused to say where (some suspect she asked for a twin from another herd). Maylin snuck off and eventually came back with not one, but two hornless unis, Tehuti and Vance, both of which were partly parented by her, in an attempt to bring more hornless unis into the herd and make her father Aatmik happier. Cienega snuck off around the same time as Maylin and eventually came back with Radwan, whom no one knows how to deal with yet. Tehuti vanished not long after he met the herd, and no one could firgure out where he went. Saniya seemed to catch the breeding fever since she dissappeared as well only to later return with the water filly Shasa. Tehuti must have needed some time figuring out how and where to breed since he took so long, but he eventually came back with the time colt Iniko in hopes Sainya would like Iniko better then him. Iniko snuck off not long after, highly embarressed, while a strange new love uni, called Lolonyo, stepped onto the scene. While Lolonyo started to flirt with everyone in the herd, Jamuna fled, eventually finding the earth uni Ller of Lakitra's herd and parenting twin muds, one of which she named Chochmo.

Coretta snuck in at some point, and started wandering around the agency, semi-caught by the herd already as she followed some of them. Lolonyo plotted with Kali to lure Karli and Nal-ray together, but used too much of his ability, Warm Fuzzies, combined with a healthy dose of Bolster, and Karli and Nal-ray got a little too friendly and had twin bloods, Harkin and Kin-araq. Of course, Lolonyo couldn't help himself and got Nal-ray to breed once more, this time with himself, resulting in twin courages, Arwan and Vemet-hin. Kali couldn't help herself (and neither could Lolonyo) and they combined to form another pair of ingots, Lights Nora and Est-kal. Coretta finally showed herself to the herd at this point, insisting that someone had to keep watch over Lolonyo, to keep him from doing that again, and it might as well be her.

Kendaleigha swam into the agency, and found herself dragged into the herd's crazy way of life; there's still a debate on whether Lolonyo had anything to do with that or not. Iniko finally came back, except now he had a quiet storm baby, Molan, with him. Lolonyo really started getting around, and met up with another love uni, the ever-innocent Cherub; somehow, Lolonyo convinced poor Cherub to parent ingots with him and parented not one, but two sets of twins - loves Shaifta and Sugar, and shadows Deirdra and Spice. When it came time for a new sun to be made within the dark barrier, the herd manged to mostly come together, although they bickered more then worked together; when Lolonyo used Warm Fuzzies to calm everyone down, Shaifta got carried away and used overwhelming amounts of Warm Fuzzies, which turned out to be the sum of the herd's efforts since they soon went back to bickering. When the energy became both a sun and a moon, several pieces came off, becoming unis; Jyotis and Anh seemed to carry some of the energy Shaifta gave off, since they came to him (it took strong convincing on Lolonyo's part to have Shaifta not use his "normal" greeting towards mares on them). Sharara had been exploring the agency when she stumbled across the herd, and literally shocked both Shaifta and Lolonyo with her electric summon when the two loves tried to get close to her, so now she lives with the herd to make up for nearly frying the two.

When an expedition was formed to search for unis outside the agency, Lolonyo, Barak, Arwan, Jyotis, and Saniya all had various reasons to go. On the first week, Lolonyo went forth with a smaller group to check the surrounding area - he helped heal other unis during a battle and now Phlegethon and Zyphire think they owe him a debt, which they seek to repay by joining his herd. On the second week, Barak went with the scouting party this time; they were forced back to camp when chased by a group of darkling insects. They still found unis, however - another group of wild unis came crashing into the camp to avoid a second group of darklings as soon as the scouting camp made it back. Barak's bravery and the help of the others representing the herd led two unis, Jomei and Rei, to personally - and permanently - join with their close knit group. On the third week, the group trekked across a desert, dragging now-needed barrels of water behind them. Arwan sprang into action the first time the snake-like darklings attack, helping in fending off, then killing the shadowy snakes. He and others then continued to fend off attacks from these "pack hunters" as Naeva said they were as time past by. After awhile, Nitesh noticed that another dust cloud, much like the one the group was kicking up, was visible on the horizon. It wasn't until the group was near a pass on the far side of the desert, that anyone decided to see who the other was. The two groups eventually merged, and Vesta and Balendin somehow attached themselves to Arwan in the process. On the fourth week, the group as a whole left the desert and desended into a completely quiet forest. Jyotis went with those who had formed a scout party, and together they push deeper into the forest to search. The lack of common things such as lichen and mushrooms talked of the very balance of nature being off, unnerving Jyotis, yet the group continued, as terrible sounds started to follow them. She and the others followed an old deer track as it turned into a well-worn path until it ended at a circle of stones, a reminder of what the wards back home were like before the shield went up. There, they found a small and weary group whom they invited to come back with them. Jyotis found herself assigned to guard one of the group's flanks as they raced back to camp. She fought with several of the darklings on the way, and by the time they had made it back to camp, she found that two unis, Hareph and Orrick, had drifted towards her for protection and were now looking to her for guidance.

Meanwhile, back home, both Sharara and Coretta had gotten bored and frustrated from being left behind. Sharara wandered off to find a uni from a different herd, and found the acid uni Malacite; together they created twin cities Asgard and Seattle, and twin acids Achshaph and Tattoo. Coretta, however, wandered off towards a different herd and found a nightmare uni called Freja; the two created twin cities Kasi and Birmingham. With Barak off on the expedition, and Sharara off creating new unis, Rai felt left out and wandered around, only to find Levina, an electric who had managed to find her own way to the agency. After Isidore - a painted fire mare that pledged herself to Cantor - chased Qusta - a earth stallion that had been looking over her - away during the first week of the expedition, the earth stallion slunk along after the group, keeping himself hidden until they came back to the agency, where he searched for Phlegethon and Zyphire so he could ask for protection from whatever herd they pledged themselves to.

Both Zyphire and Sharara had wandered off at various points to meet other unis - they did however run into each other, and created storm twins. One called himself Abrecan, the other has remained silent and has yet to choose a herd thus far. Maylin had wandered off after the two, and the three wound up creating a total of eight unis - four sets of twins. Sherwin and Bluster, Airs, were among the first to show. Tormaigh, meanwhile, had decided to join up with one of the herds under the care of a guardian within the agency, and had talked to several unis before joining the herd under Alaina's care. Of the rest of the twin sets that Maylin helped create with both Zyphire and Sharara's help, there were two Steams, Shiri and Tuula, and two sets of Storms, Storm Surge and James, and Kale and an unknown. Most went to other herds, but of all eight (ten really, with Zyphire and Sharara creating between them), only Abrecan, Sherwin, and Shiri stayed. Two others, twins of Kale and Abrecan, could not make up their minds, and wander the agency in search of a herd. There must have been a mixup of ingots with all the breeding going on - the blood uni Garnet emerged from his ingot in front of the astonished herd's eyes, as did the ice uni Haimati. Nether had a parent from the herd. Sharara must have really enjoyed creating ingots (that, or she still couldn't figure out how the table did it), but she met up with Nihar and created two sets of twins - a pair of Lights (one has decided to call himself Tangakwunu) and a pair of Storms (one has decided to call himself Girisha). All four have remained - outwardly - quiet thus far.

Bricriu was as much a pain to get into the herd as he was after he got in. Several had resisted having him join at first, and forced him to change his outlook before he was finally allowed to join, where he promptly entered a contest against Coretta for snarky-est uni.

1 Foalen ~ Yep, the story is that we got a shipment of unis from another agency that is getting a little crowded. So we have boxes of unis. Everyone will have a chance to buy a box at the standard flatsale price. You will have no idea what element or markings the unis have until the boxes open. However compensate for the fact that you don't know what your getting, any commons you get will have mutations, there is also the possibility of getting uncommons and rares. And perhaps the odd scarce or two.

To sort... somehow... (Currently by gender, then by name)
- To Complete: Bozez, Bridgette, Coretta, Hedwig, Iniko, Istas, Radwan, Sahirah, Shasa, Soyala, Tehuti, Vance... um, yeah... Pretty much everyone...
(Yes, I am bad at updating this post)

- Aatmik "Soul." - Impatient and short-tempered. Very proud of the fact that he has no horn and is snobby (at the best) to anyone who does have a horn. He thinks that all those that have horns look down upon those with no horns and has decided to "turn his back on the horned ones since they turned their backs on the non-horned ones." His often attempts to get other hornless unis to "rise up and rebel" tend to fail. Yet if asked why he hates those with horns, he'll just mumble something or other and attempt to go on with what he was doing before he was asked. He refuses to admit to anyone - including himself - that perhaps, maybe, he might be just a tad bit jealous of those with horns. Maybe. He might become a little calmer if he sees that there are more hornless unis around other then "just him and his" plus any other hornless uni in "his" herd (he refuses to be led by a "horned" uni).
- Barak "Lightning." - Volatile and friendly. He tends to be aloof to those he doesn't know, but once he gets to know them, he shows his kinder side. He is very protective of those he cares for, and has been known to suddenly go crazy over someone getting hurt, whether it be physically or mentally.
- Chochmo "Mud Mound (Hopi)." - Depressive (and sullen). He isn't very proud of his looks. He is quite embarrassed by the fact that his tail has no fur on it and has been called a "nakkie" uni by some members of the herd. He tends to keep to himself, and is almost always seen with his mother Jamuna if he is to be seen with other unis at all.
- Damek "Earth." - Friendly and calm. In tune with his surroundings, his presence serves to calm others. He acts like a listening stone against the pounding of the herd's spoken frustrations. He knows all too well what darklings are and can do, and is a fighter of sorts.
- Iniko "Born During Troubled Times." - Deliberate and thoughtful.
- Lolonyo "Love is Beautiful." - Gentle and affectionate. A total flirt. He will flirt with any uni, male or female, and attempt to get them to like him. He tends to try and have ingots with the ones he finds pretty, although his attempts often turn out to be failures - not everyone wants to have an ingot with someone they barely know. Still, that doesn't keeping him from flitting about, trying to get on a uni's good side, and possibly on more then that. He also doesn't like it when unis don't get along and he's been known to get in on plots to get other unis together if they've been making a racket, assuming he doesn't start plotting on his own.
- Present "Gift." - Friendly and calm. New to the herd, he tends to stay on the outskirts of group. He is passive and unassuming. Not much else is known.
- Pyralis "Of Fire." - Extroverted and quick-tempered. He is very outgoing and strong-willed. He loves to show off, and gets cranky if no one pays attention to him. He tends to bully unis he sees as "unfit" to be in "his" herd. He belonged to the same herd as Stian and Stanley.
- Radwan "Keeper of a vineyard." - Helpful and quiet.
- Ramses "Sun Born." - Extroverted and quick-tempered. He is strong-willed, battle-tested, and so sure in his decisions... up until he sees that they were wrong, in which he quickly changes positions and says he knew that all along. He tends to get snarky if someone points that out to him. He is considered a dominant power in the herd due to his strong will, battle abilities, and ability to come up with quick decisions in case of a fight; he is in command of all the unis in the herd - save Trynt (who also commands) - in times of battle.
- Roshaun "Shining Light." - Distant and uncaring. He is unsure about himself, and stays away from other unis, doing his best to stay out of their way. Every so often he tries to learn about himself and may help out then. He is looked upon as one of the dominant powers in the herd due to his age and relation to the eldest mare (Evane).
- Sheitan "Black Beauty" - Thoughtful and kind. He tends to listen more then talk, and generally follows Cienega around. He also tends to withdraw around strangers, but when it comes to darklings, he is quite bold and will hide others within shadows as he fights during times of battle.
- Stanley "Rocky Meadow." - Friendly and calm. Often in the middle, he is the one that cools others' tempers. In his old herd, he tagged along with Pyralis to make sure he didn't bully anyone too badly. He belonged to the same herd as Stian and Pyralis.
- Stian "Swift." - Flighty and skittish. Often bullied by other unis in his herd because of his coloring, he has become quite paranoid about being around unis that are not in his new herd. He has learn to run quickly at the first sign of trouble thanks to the bullies. He belonged to the same herd as Pyralis and Stanley.
- Strom "Stream, Flow." - Emotional and friendly. He lends an ear for any uni in the general vicinity. His emotions get him into and out of trouble constantly. He rarely stays angry at anyone, normally quick to forgive them. He also tends to get protective of anyone who is in serious danger.
- Tehuti "God of Earth, Sky, Air and Sea." - Quiet, mysterious, and kind.
- Tolan "From the taxed land." - Helpful and quiet. Second member of the herd. He saw his entire herd destroyed at a young age. He is still very withdrawn, yet seems to be slowing recovering from shock... Perhaps it is the presence of other unis nearby and the feeling of being useful that cause him to stick around and help out... He is often looked upon as one of the dominant powers in the herd due to his calming presence, elder status, and ability to heal.
- Trynt "Lives near the stream." - Quiet, mysterious, and kind. He tends to listen more then speak, and carries a passive yet powerful aura with him. Was one of the few remaining "wild" unis that remain outside the Barrier, thus has vast expertise when it comes to surviving. Many unis listen to him regardless of how well they may know him. Newly come to the herd, Saniya still latched onto him to be her consort/king as he was of the same rarity as her.
- Vance "From the Marsh." - Introspective and quiet.

- Bozez "Mud, Bog." - Depressive (and shy).
- Bridgette "Strength. Mythological Celtic Goddess of fire and poetry." - Moody and angry.
- Celeste "From the Heavens." - Happy and kind. Happy-go-lucky, she tends to act like a filly and gets along rather well with Kachina. She tends to be rather trusting, and would help anyone she thought needed helping (including darklings) if the herd would let her. She drifts from place to place, her attention span rather short. Still, she can buckle down and concentrate on something or someone for as long as necessary if the need is there.
- Cienega "Swamps/Marshes." - Depressive (and emotional). She is quite vocal of her thoughts, and tends to view everything negatively. She always finds the down side, and hates it when others try to look on the bright side. "Why bother?" is her most often used phrase, causing any herd member near her to go silent at her presence. Her other most often used phrase is "If you look on the down side, you won't be disappointed when something bad happens." Sadly, some of the herd members are starting to take after her attitude towards life.
- Coretta "Little Heart." - Bitter and wounded.
- Damara "Fertility Goddess." - Friendly and calm. She provides an emotional support for any uni who needs her. She is very calm and outgoing, often acting as middle-uni in discussions and arguments. She is considered a dominant power in the herd due to her calming influence.
- Elsha "Noble." - Depressive (and quiet). She doesn't say much, so not many know what she keeps bottled inside her. Actions speak louder then words, however, and she has been quite helpful in doing just about whatever a herd member asks of her while asking little to nothing in return.
- Evanescence "To dissipate or disappear like vapor." - Flighty and skittish. The eldest, and first member of the herd, she fights her age old feelings of extreme shyness and withdraw in order to keep the herd together. She can live up to her name, being able to appear and disappear without a trace. She personally knows each and every herd member, and how to push their buttons. She also makes sure each knows how to speak in the human tongue. She is currently training Saniya to take over the herd, as she feels that a uni of a rarer element is needed to make the herd appear strong.
- Hedwig "Refuge in battle." - Sullen and flighty.
- Iona "Purple Jewel." - Serene and distant. Newly come to the herd, she rarely speaks and seems to keep everyone at a distance without really thinking about it. She helps out when her skills are needed, but otherwise goes off on her own to think. Many of the herd wonder if she fought darklings and lost since she has an odd marking under one eye...
- Istas "Snow." - Harsh and distant.
- Jamuna "Holy River." - Emotional and friendly. She provides an emotional support for any uni in or out of her herd. She is very friendly, and makes it very hard for others to stay angry at her. She also rarely stays angry at anyone, quickly forgiving them. She does tend to get over-emotional and protective of anyone who is in danger, however.
- Kachina "Sacred Dancer." - Extroverted and quick-tempered. She is more like a filly than a mare. She sees things in black and white, and is quick to point out her ideas. She is just as fast in becoming furious and pouty if her ideas aren't taken. Still, she is the oldest fire uni in the herd, and has been known to come up with some great - if not wacky - ideas in stressed situations.
- Karli "Covered with snow." - Harsh and distant. She distances herself from other unis, generally being harsh with them when she is required to interact with others. She fears for herself, and trusts no one. There is a rumor circulating through the herd that she lost several close friends once, and has yet to trust again. She does not make friends very easily, yet will give way for a dominant power, or for someone in need of her help. She also has a deep longing for naga unis, and is always thrilled to meet one. There are a few rare times where she will actually be friendly and willingly help out, which gives way to speculation on why she acts like she does the rest of the time.
- Maylin "Great Waterfall." - Emotional and friendly. Normally calm for the most part, she can go into a emotional frenzy over something she feels strongly about. She is quick to defend someone, and just as quick to calm down and pretend nothing happened. While shy, she's very outgoing and friendly with those herd members that she personally knows.
- Melantha "Dark Violet." - Thoughtful and kind. She tends to listen more then talk, and generally does whatever the herd wants of her. She goes out of her way to help other herd members, and is constantly on the run to fetch this or that. For all that, she tends to be shy, and will hide others with her shadows during times of battle.
- Moana "Ocean." - Emotional and friendly. She is as unpredictable as her namesake. She goes from strong-willed to meek, happy to sad, all-knowing to clueless. She remains friendly through all of it, bouncing around like a child most of the time, acting like an adult only when needed, and not a moment more.
- Rhian "Magic Maiden." - Flighty and skittish. She tends to hide away from the other herd members, preferring to watch from a distance rather than getting involved. She is very shy, so she tends to run away, or at least seem mute if she is approached by anyone.
- Sahirah "Clean, Pristine." - Cold and unkind.
- Saniya "Moment in time." - Deliberate and thoughtful. Young, but willing to learn. She backs down to Evane constantly, yet she is the female dominant power in the herd due to her rarity, multiple mutations, and fact that she is the first rare to join the herd. That, and the fact that Evane wants her to be the dominant power, despite her objections of being too young.
- Shasa "Precious Water." - Emotional and friendly.
- Soyala "Winter Solstice." - Cold and unkind.
- Yepa "Winter Princess." - Harsh and distant. She stands aloof from the other unis, thinking that she is better than them, since she was called a winter princess. She is rigid in her ways and beliefs, and it will take quite a bit to get her to warm to someone. The only two she is nice to at the moment are her parents, and she tolerates the rest of the "herd" she and her parents are in.
