Lip bleeding from biting too hard,
trying to call out
you never see me, but i see you
I long to be with you
But each time you see me,
the wind changes direction
And I slip into the darkness once again
And you look away
Going on with your life
Standing there beside him
The one who took you away
and destroyed all you were

pain feeding the flame
In the dark reaches of his eyes
