For most of the series, in the favorite character polls, Ichigo has always placed first, and Rukia has always placed second.
BUT THAT'S CHANGED.
In the most recent poll, HITSUGAYA PLACED SECOND! <3~~~~~~~
Of course Ichigo would place first; he's the main character. But... Hitsugaya didn't even appear until volume 10... and he's slowly become a main character.... AND HE'S NUMBER TWO IN THE POLLS!!!

And I really like Ichigo, so I don't mind him being first. Although I wish Hitsugaya were in the manga now as well as Rukia and Renji... crying ...

Ho-lee crap.
I just looked at the official results for this poll.
Hitsugaya got 49 votes less than Ichigo.
Ichigo, the main character.
Just barely beat Hitsugaya, the guy who didn't even appear til volume 10, chapter 81, episode 24.
O_O
Ichigo got 8370 votes. Hitsugaya got 8321 votes.
HOLY. CRAP.

OMG!! I knew he was in second place but i didn't know he was that close to beating ichigo. eek YAY HITSUGAYA-KUN!!! heart if this keeps up, he might be in first place in the next popularity contest. biggrin
