Well, given that this is likely a little talked about topic, I'd personally like to know what to do when, as the dominant, you just feel lazy and unable to dominate any longer, or when your pets leave, one by one...

For me, it was being called a pitiful person by my favorite slave. crying
Or maybe it was when I actually started caring about my pets....

Did they move away, or simply stop visiting you?

That really sucks, Susan, but I really can't help you in any way, shape, or form except by offering you a tiny bit of sympathy... which I doubt you really want.
Blah. I hate sympathy. Empathy is better, but I, unfortunately, cannot empathize with you as far as this goes. =/

More of an avoidance of all possible contact; but right now, I'm okay. Actually, I should erase the personal bit of this; I was just feeling sorry for myself briefly, and turn this into a sort of "what-to-do" thread.

The easiest thing to do would be to call a few of them and see what the problem is. If they used to attend any BDSM clubs with you, then perhaps they've talked to someone there.

Have you tried to start an actual fight with one of them? It may seem a bit crude and uncivilized, but somtimes enui(sp?) sets in when you become emotionally detached from what you're doing. As mean as it sounds, sometimes the best thing to do is try to build up some genuine animosity towards your pets. Don't make a habit of it, but if you sometimes explode on them, your pets are less likely to lose respect when you have a blue period.

Just a thought.

Poor thing I know as a switch I've experienced it both ways, sub and domme, I had to basically take a step back, and a breather from the scene, eventually the crave came back so hard, it didn't take long, just needed to re-ground.
