I know this may be more suited for a "Pandora's Box" thread, but I feel it'd be better to put it here, since I'm talking what you may do in reality that stems from what you do in an FF game...
examples from a similar thread in an FFXI fansite (yes these have actually occurred for the people who posted there):
You know you play too much FFXI when you start referring to items that come in dozens as "stacks" ie. a dozen eggs=a stack of eggs; a 12-pack of sodas=a stack of sodas
You know you play too much FFXI when you look at the moon, see it as its usual color of white, and think it is Lightsday. (also on those rare nights the moon is red, assume it is Firesday)
Now, this may not be as outright or likely to happen from playing any other FF game, but it could happen razz
I used to play FFXI on PS2, and the macros were used with the L2 and R2 buttons... I remember playing Zelda at one time, hitting the L button trying to bring up my macro menu so I could use Flee, because Link wasn't running fast enough xd

You know you play too much Final Fantasy when you listen to the music all the time, and can sing any of the songs with words, and make up your own words to the ones without them. And you can even sing the ones in japanese.

........ your friend is telling you about a problem they have and you say "what?" because you're trying to figure out your line-up to defeat Evrae.
......you're lost inside Galbadia Garden and there's no way you can get out and then you wake up.
.......you greet your kids when they come home from school with "I got Omega I got Omega!!!!!!.......oh , so how was your day?

...do school projects and end up putting some sort of reference to Final Fantasy with out your knowing *true story*
...get a mythical creature to draw for Drawing class only to come home and realize that it's the Pheonix from Final Fantasy VIII *true story*
...Do a powerpoint on Katanas and Wakizachi and end up making 3 slides of Final Fantasy characters who had them *true story*
...Name your Jade Empire Character Laguna Loire, Irvine Kinneas and Squall Leonheart. *true story*
...Make the entire Silver Haired Men on your Sim's 2 game. *true story*
The list goes on and on but you can basically say... I play too much Final Fantasy lol

Hey, the truer the story, the better for this thread biggrin
You know you play too much Final Fantasy when you watch some horror movies and instead of being the person who yells "Look out behind you!" you're the person to yell "Cast blink!!"
(I've never done that, but in other movies that something is terrorizing people, I may yell "Cast Blizzaga on 'im!!"... Why Blizzaga of all spells is beyond me)

you know you play too much final fantasy when...
you decide to make sephiroth and cloud a couple on the sims 2 and think its the funniest/best thing ever
you know the characters last names background story and blood type
you make an endless stream of amv about it
you pick holes in the plot (kadaj uses magic materia to summon bahamut)
you know the dance routine to real emotion
ps ive done all these things and more

You make almost fill your entire neighbor hood on the sims 2 with final fantasy characters... (thanks to Mod the Sims 2's lovely videogame sims.

i made a load of final fantasy characters in the sims and had a showdown to see who would survive to be the champion... and the winner was->Irvine<-

You go up to random people on the street and ask them if they have any weapons they want to sell.
