I think this has already been asked, but what is your Marching band show about this year? Mine has no theme. Last year's was Ray Charles, this year we are playing Russian Easter Overture, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again (Phantom of the Opera), Batman (not the NANANANANANANANA BATMAN! But the actual theme)
So what is your show?

Ours is disco inferno then we make an M (mariner maruders) and then play the fight song for everyone again (as if they have'nt heard it enough) we then make an arc for the football players to come back through while we play louie louie
so no theme

Well our show is called fanfare for freedom. it is basically a war going on and you can really tell it during the drum break it is woodwinds against brass. we play battle cry for freedom, north face, and far and away. it's american based.

no theme
We're playing Fiero!, Malaguena, and Desperado (by The Eagles)
and somewhere in between Fiero! and Malaguena, there's a percusion solo and meshing, sooo...yeah.
It's pretty interesting, actually.

Flight, that's what it says on our Band T-shirts.
Our songs are called "Fanfare for the Third Planet", "Into the Light", and "Ascend." They're sorta lame songs... man i wish we were doing The Incredibles like they did last year! If only i was born a year earlier i could've been a part of it!

Our show is based on the poem "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night" by Dylan Thomas, with selections including, Do Not Go Gentle [opening, pt.2 + pt.2], Legend Of Alcabaca, and to end it Light onto Darkness.
Our show is basically about Fighting death! We have tombstones and everything. Its a really awesome show ;] I'm still jelous of last year though, They did Wicked D: Oh well xD

... are show is another stupid show this year... called "Happy Holidays".
Featuring- Labor day, groundhog day, valentines day, and independence day.
grar. I'm glad the season is over now.
BUT! I saw this freaking awesome show today at BOA San Antonio! It was... *drumrolll......*
DDR THEMED.
OMGSH it was so freaking aweosme. it was orgasmic, it made me want to go hom and play ddr right then and there. I luved it!

Ours is super bands of the seventies. Its horrible because we just got a new band director and he is way different from our last band director. When I say different I mean like the difference between school food and a five star resturant, the new BD being the school food.
