Did he? Did Kurda really deserve to get killed because he wanted to save his kind?
Personally, I think not. No, he did not deserve it. Yes, Kurda was a traitor. But that doesn't mean he's a bad person. How can he be a bad person? The fact that he was a traitor don't make him bad, you have to remember that what he did, he did with the clan's best interest at heart. He tried to avoid a war that he knew the vampires would lose, not make it. And if Kurda had succeeded, there would be no war. But alas, he didn't live long enough to do it.
And don't forget Darren, and all the things he did to try to save him.
But, he did deserve some sort of punishment. Beacuse he allied himself with the vampaneze behind the other vampire's backs, he was going to kill his fellow princes, and all the other vampires that got in his way.
In one way I can understand that the clan did what they did, because he had misused their trust in him as a General and Prince-to-be. But then again I can't understand that they killed him off, because what he did, he did for them. He tried to save them, although he knew he would die in the end. To the very end, Kurda was a noble person.
I say: Long live the pacifist!
